It's been very refreshing to write this book. I'm not one to tell people when I'm upset about something, so this is my way of letting my feelings out. Thank you for reading it.
I haven't heard from "Cole" in a long time and I think he might have been able to move.
Cole was a guy that came very carefree in attitude. He wasn't arrogant, he didn't brag about what he had. He was humble and the life of the party.
Do not let jealousy do something like this.
That kind of bullying is the type of thing that leads to suicide and if Cole's family wasn't so loving, who knows what could have happened to such an innocent kid?
I have so many what ifs.
What if he still rode my bus that year? is the biggest one. Because I am not one to let bullying happen. All it takes is one person to say something.
Anything they could have said to me would have been better than any of the things they did to him. I'm already labeled as "awkward" and quite frankly, I do not care.
If I was on his bus or even knew about the situation, I would have "damaged my rep" - or lack there of - to salvage his natural personality in a heartbeat. No deliberation whatsoever.
I tried to match the meanings of the roses to the theme and feel of the chapters. Did you notice?
I looked up the meanings of the colors and tried to find a rose with a color that went well with the feel of the message of each chapter. If you're not clear about a rose, you can ask me and I'd be more than happy to explain to you.
This is - hopefully - the first of many of my Based on a True Story books. I'm working on a fictional romance story and am hoping to post the first chapter next week. That book will have either weekly or biweekly updates with longer chapters.
Thanks again for reading. I love feedback in any form, so be sure to vote and/or comment.
