It was never your fault that your parents had money.
It was a common misconception that you were rich. We all know why. You lived near the "good" part of the neighborhood - the part where the "better-off" black people lived. You lived in the biggest-looking house on your street, but you were white.
So leave it to the minds of bitter fatherless children to judge you and decide that you had it "better." You had what they thought they wanted - a father, a "nicer" house, and money.
I didn't want what you had, though. Because the money wasn't even yours, I had a dad, and I was an elementary-schooler who took things for granted. Sue me.
