Talia's POV:

I wake up In a strange place having no idea where I am i see some people I know and one person I don't know he must be Legolas father I see Legolas.

i try and sit up but hurt myself legolas comes to me and says "you need to rest gwein er" (Young One) don't try and move just rest I look at him and say "What happened" he stares at me for a moment then says "You were stabbed by an orc Arwen took you here and we healed you but you need rest so you should not move to much the orc had poison on there blade so that needs to heal" I just nod he smiles at me and says "You don't talk much do you" I smile and say "Not to people I just met but I guess since you saved my life I can speak to you" he just giggled then he ask "Why were you going after orcs on your own"

I grin and say "That's my secret and for you to find out" he grins " Guess I will find out your secret" I look at him shocked and he laughed I look at him "What's so funny" he laughs some more "nothing it's just your face when I said that" I playfully hit him and laugh "Whatever Princeling "and I laugh then he says "Princeling really" I just laugh Really hard He laughed as well

After a while Thranduil comes up to me and says "You must be Talia" I just nod he then stares at me then say "You should learn how to be more careful" then Legolas looks at him stunned and says ada (father) Thranduil hold his hand up to warn Legolas and I speak "I'm sorry your king I should have been more careful" he looks at me then just walks off.

Legolas comes to me and says "I'm sorry Talia it's not your fault ever since my mother died he's been more well strict being the king and all" I just nod  and say "It's quite all right I understand" he just smiles he says "You really are different from everyone else Talia" I smile and say "Is that a compliment" he smiles and says "That's my secret and for you to find out" he then winked at me then he walks off but not before turning around and smiling at me

2 weeks later

Legolas POV

I was sitting and eating next to talia and the rest of the fellowship members they are staying here for a bit me and talia  have gotten pretty close even though she's still not as talkative and still closed off I still like hanging out with her.
she was staring and seemed to be focused on something she must be having a hard time I look to her and say "What's the matter gwein er" (Young One) she looks at me and smiles "Nothing I'm getting tired I'm going to head to bed" I just nod something must be up I will find out what it is

Talia'a POV

I go back to my room after dinner and try and stay strong I haven't self harmed since a year now I don't want to go back to that but then I think about how my brother and mom died and think how it's my fault I can't do it so I go to get a knife I slice my arm 7 times there is blood after I finish I get a bandage and wrap it then pull my sleeve down then go to sleep

The next morning I wake up and realize what I did I cry then I hear a knock on my door I wipe my tears and say "Come in" Legolas walks in and comes to sit next to me
He says "gwein er" (Young One) please talk to me I know we don't know each other that well but I want to help" I look at him tears In my eyes " I can't talk about it I want to I just can't it's to painful" he looks at me sadly "whenever your ready to talk I am here for you.

" I smile and lay my head on his shoulder i immediately realize what I did and lifted my head up and say "I um I'm sorry I didn't mean to" he looks at me and says "it's ok  gwein er" (Young One) whatever you need I am here and if that's a shoulder to cry on then that's alright" I smile then put my head back on his shoulder i say  "thank you for being here for me" he smiles at me and says "of course  gwein er" (Young One)

Me and Legolas are in the training room training and I get my sword and am going against Boromir he smiles and says "Your going to lose" I smile and say "oh really let's make this interesting winner buys us drinks" he looks at me and smiles "Deal" and we shook on it

I got my sword and went at Boromir but he dodged it really easily then he came at me and I went under and ducked just in time then went after him again are swords met and I smile and put my sword to his neck and say "I win better get those drink then" he just grins and says "well done Talia well done" and he walks off.

Legolas walks up to me a grin on his face he says "you did amazing who taught you how to fight" I smile and say "My brother always fights so he taught me how to fight" I smile at the memory" and decide to tell him "When I was 14 my brother mom and sister died they got killed by orcs i have been on my own since then I went after those orcs for my parents my dad died when I was young" I sat tears In my eyes he looks at me and says

"I'm so sorry Talia my mom died when I was young as well it's the hardest thing ever" i look at him " I'm so sorry Legolas"
He smiles at me and says "It's alright Talia I have learned how to cope" just know you can let me in I'm here for you" I smile and hug him "Thank you Legolas you really are a great friend" and I walk away but before I do I turn and wink at him
