If anybody ever in my life would have told me that ME Talib Asili Munroe would be staying in space and not just in a short mission I would tell them that they are crazy but here I am and this is amazing.
I didn't thought about it at first...well I actually did kinda thought about it, but I blame Groot on that, we had a space mission with the Guardians fighting with the Droods (again) and with Carol's help as well, but I never thought that I would ended up being a fast friend with an alien tree that connected with my powers, even for a total pacifist like me that rather talk things out and avoid disturbing the life on other plants to fight, reason why I rather use my seeds, but Groot was willing to join forces with me so it was cool and I believe that all connections always mean something,
However, what really sealed the deal for me is when Kitty told me she wanted to join them, I know my aunt wanted me to take the lead for the new X-Men team that was forming, but something was calling me to go into this: "having my own adventure and not just live up to someone else's expectations about me", of course I miss my best friends Josh and Sofia, my friends and teammates Sooraya, David, Rogue, Gambit, Jubilee, Colossus and Bobby, I miss my aunt, I miss Scott, Jean and even Logan who seems to dislike everybody but Jean, my aunt, me and just a few people in the house.
But as the saying goes, all the birds are meant to leave the nest sooner or later and...I really flew very far from the nest, but not because I hated it but it was my calling and somehow I still found a way to keep in touch with them and they share with me not only the little gossip around the mansion but also big news of the world and did I need to remind you all that this little guy who comes from Kenya is in freaking SPACE?! Sorry I keep saying it, but it just feels so weird and so awesome to say it.
