After a surprising accident kitty is presumed dead, but a startled Lance cannot except that his kitty might actually be gone. All he can think about is that he must find out, is she dead? Or is she alive? Logan is heartbroken by her death and can't help but remember her from before the incident. He goes for a trip and finds himself helping a certain brotherhood member.

When outlaw duo and childhood best friends Peter Quill and Kitty Pryde steal a mysterious orb. they must rally a ragtag group to save the universe.

Rogue had let a lot of things slide since coming to the school for gifted youngsters. She had held her tongue when Jean 'borrowed' her hair brush, or Kitty phases through the friggin' wall to ask for the homework answers. She put up with Kurt 'bamfing' in and out of rooms at random. How he hadn't given anyone a heart attack yet was beyond her. She listened to Scott and Jean being oblivious and stupid, without screaming 'just ask him out!', a true testament to her self-restraint. She dealt with all the weirdness, but not having pumpkins to carve the days leading up to Halloween was unacceptable
