Chapter 23

Marinette's POV:

The more I thought about it, the less it made sense to hide that we're together. If me and Adrien are together now and Ladybug and Chat Noir are together later, it would be a stretch to assume we're the same people.

I'm kissing him in front of the whole cafeteria.
Everyone is looking but I don't care. We both pull away.

"I'm not ashamed of you."

He smiles like a dumbass. A cute dumbass.

We sort of awkwardly walk over to our lunch table where everyone's mouths are wide open.

"Just friends my ass!"

Me and Adrien laugh as he grabs my hand under the table.

Luka walks over and sits down next to Nino.

"Hey Luka!"

"Hey Mari."

Adrien and I get up to get our food then sit back down.

"Hey girl, wanna go to the movies later?"

"Sure, wanna come too?"

I turn to Adrien.

"I'll be there."

"Great! I've always wanted to go on a double date!"

Adrien eats most of his lunch and I offer him a smile in place of a "good job!" or "I'm proud of you."

We get through the rest of the school day and all meet up in the front of the school.

"Alright dudes, the movie starts in 2 hours. You two better not be late."

"No problem, Nino. Bye guys!"

We start walking to Adrien's car when a villain flies in front of us and onto the building then stares into my fucking soul.

"Marinette! You took Adrien from me! He will be mine!"

"What the fuck?"

I just stare at the villain.

Holy shit.

"Adrien, is that Lila??"

"Oh my God."

He quickly pushes me into his car and locks it from the outside.

"Stay here. I promise I'll keep you safe."

For a second I forgot he was Chat Noir.

He runs off and a second later, Chat uses his staff to get closer to the villain. He leads Lila away from me and I sigh in relief before freaking the fuck out.

Holy shit, I'm Ladybug.

I open my purse and Tikki flies out.

"Tikki, what do I do??"

She gives me a look like I'm stupid before phasing though the door and unlocking it.

"What would I do without you?"

"Definitely not what you're about to do."

She smiles and I giggle before transforming.

"Tikki, spots on!"

I use my yoyo to find Chat and Lila. They're fighting on top of a building, but she strikes him and he starts to fall down the side of the structure.

I catch him with my yoyo and bring him to me.

"Long time no see, Kitty Cat."

"Pleasure as always, m'lady."

"Any idea where the akuma is?"
