Adrien's POV:

We swing to my house and detransform.

Marinette basically drags me to the bathroom and sits me down on the toilet.

"I'm fine, Marinette."

She tilts my head up and to the side and down as she examines my face.

"We should've just stayed home."

She says as she wipes away the now dried blood.

"C'mon, that would've been rude."

"I don't care."

She gets overwhelmed so I take the wipe out of her hand look into her eyes.

"What's really bothering you?"

She gets kinda taken aback like she really didn't expect me to ask.

"I- I don't know.."

I make a face at her essentially stating that that is bullshit.

"It's just not fair-"

"What isn't?"

She tears up a little tiny bit and I stand up, picking her up with me and wrapping her legs around me.

"I'm listening."

She holds onto me and sighs.

"I just- I don't want to hold hands under the table. Or tell people you aren't my boyfriend. It's not fair."

I walk into my room and sit down on my game chair, setting her down on my lap and placing her chest against mine.

"As long as we know we're in love, that's enough for me."

"But what about-"

"Nope."

She lifts up her head and raises her eyebrows at me.

"I know what I said this morning, but whatever."

She replies with only a soft smile as she lays her head down back on my chest.

"Does your nose hurt? Don't lie to me."

Only a little.

"Only a little."

She kisses the tip of my nose incredibly softly.

She's so cute.

My phone buzzes and I shimmy to take it out of my pocket.

"It's Nino. He wants to know if we wanna hang out with him and Alya later."

"Sure and do what?"

"I'm asking."

She rubs her fingers on the back of my head as we wait for a response.

"Bowling??"

"Ooo, fun! We're definitely going."

I suck at bowling.

I chuckle as I reply to Nino's text.

"Alright, he said to meet them at that burger place first so we can get food first."

"When?"

"5pm."

She shifts her body slightly.

"So what do you wanna do in the meantime?"

Are we thinking the same thing?

"That depends, princess. What do you wanna do?"
