Second Omake: Shikaku Meets Naruto

Hello, Lovelies! Here's the second Omake, this time from Shikaku's POV. It's a bit rushed since I really want to continue working on this story and others. I was thinking of working on Desert Fox soon.

Shikaku and Yoshino are making Naruto's and Shikamaru's relationship too deep. Yes, they are potential lovers, but it will never happen (Naruto sees Shika as a brother throughout this whole story so it wouldn't work well at all). 

I loved writing Naruto talking about Itachi, as it gives a third view of Naruto's and Itachi's relationship ^-^ You'll find out what I'm talking about when you get nearer to the end of this "chapter."

I tried to keep Naruto's personality the same as in Chapter One and Omake One. If there are any changes, then it's mainly because this POV is from someone who is objective (I loved making Shikaku fall asleep during Council meetings, lmao) and rational, even more so than both Itachi and Naruto.

It's a bit easy for me to write these Omakes since I am more objective and rational, though it's intermixed with artistic views and mild social ones.

Omake: Shikaku Meets Naruto

Warning: Implied Abuse, Implied Desertion, Implied Mental Disorders (you have to look for it to see it, I just wanted to add this in case someone did see it so they can't tell me that I didn't warn them about it) 

Shikaku met Naruto at the same time as everyone else: two days after he was born. Shikaku understood why the Third called up a Council meeting that soon.

They needed to figure out who was going to be the Hokage and they needed to talk about Konoha repairs. The attack was viable to come up, as Shikaku knew that the civilians were blaming the Uchihas for the horrific event.

What Shikaku didn't understand was why they were also talking about a blond baby boy. Granted, he was adorable and he looked odd with whisker marks, but that didn't tell him why the blond was in the meeting.

"Everyone, meet Naruto Namikaze," Hiruzen announced and Shikaku's world fell quiet. He knew that he had fallen asleep during a meeting, but he needed to order all the information. He knew that Hiruzen would stop the meeting until Shikaku was ready to re-participate and he appreciated the gesture every time.

So, the blond boy was Namikaze's son. Shikaku hadn't heard about Minato marrying anyone, but if he had to guess, he had been at least dating Kushina. Minato seemed the type to settle down, so it was likely he had married the woman.

Kushina was the former Kyuubi Jinchuuriki and Shikaku guessed that Naruto's whiskers were a product of a child being born after being influenced by a Bijuu's chakra before being born. Which probably meant that he naturally had a small portion of Kyuubi's chakra.

Kushina died two days ago and an Uzumaki is the best person to seal Kyuubi which means....

Shikaku's world regained sound, "The boy is the next Kyuubi Jinchuuriki."

"Yes," Hiruzen confirmed and muttering was heard throughout the council. "His mother was Kushina Uzumaki, the former Kyuubi Jinchuuriki. Naruto will share his mother's name and will be seen as a savior. No one is to tell Naruto of his parents or of what he holds. Also, the civilians are not to be told of Naruto's position."

Shikaku frowned, "Is that really wise, Lord Third? The news could accidentally leak out and the civilians might see Naruto as the reincarnation of Kyuubi. That could lead to Naruto having a hard life. It would be best if he was placed in a loving home who were friends with his parents and told of his family, his status, and the dangers both hold."
