Hello, Lovelies! Nell/Noir here with Chapter Four!

This turned out longer than expected but still in between the length I have set for each chapter (no shorter than 3000 words --except if it's an Omake-- and no longer than 5000 words. If it goes over 5000 words, then I split it off at a good spot at around 3000 words, even if it means cutting off at a good spot when things start rolling).

I also forgot to mention a warning in Chapter Three so I will fix that soon.

I wanted to remind you that this is still the first day of Naruto, Eichi, and Akihiko training with Orochimaru. The day hasn't changed that so please keep that in mind.

I'm sorry if it's confusing since I keep stoping it so soon.

Summary of Chapter Three:

Naruto meets his new team and starts learning from Orochimaru.

That's going to be the summary for a while so buckle in.

"So every morning, stretch and do the tenketsu exercises, then we start with taijutsu, which lasts for two hours," Naruto nods. "What's next?"

Eichi and Akihiko stared at Naruto in disbelief, How can he have so much energy?

Chapter Four

Warnings: Mild burn injury, mentioned neglect in education multiple times (this is going to becoming a recurring theme throughout Naruto's Genin year(s) so buckle up!!!), mentioned mental disorders (the ones that are developed because of prolonged abuse and neglect)

"Next," sensei pulls out a scroll, "we will learn about chakra."

With a flick of his wrist, sensei unfurls the scroll, encouraging the three of them to come closer.

"Human chakra can be channeled and used two different ways. You should have learned this at the Academy," sensei leads, pausing to allow them to answer. He knew who would be the ones to answer.

While Naruto wasn't an idiot, he was still under-educated so Orochimaru just didn't expect the raven-blond to respond like his teammates.

"Nature transformation," Akihiko started.

"And shape transformation," Eichi ended.

"Explain them to me," Orochimaru demanded, "so that I can gauge how well you understand this concept."

He wanted to see how much he needed to teach and each of his student's levels of knowledge. He would never use it against them, but use that information to put together the best course for each of them individually.

"Nature transformation changes the type of your chakra into the different element releases. Shape transformation just changes the actual, well, shape of it," Eichi summarized.

Orochimaru-sensei tilts his head in somewhat of a nod, not disagreeing but still not satisfied. "Akihiko?"

"He's technically right, but not all the way. It doesn't have to be just elemental releases; it can also be for yin and yang release techniques. Like genjutsu. Nature transformation changes the properties of your chakra; shape transformation just changes how it moves and how it's shaped." He pauses. "Take Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu -an infamous Uchiha technique last I checked- for example. I use nature transformation to change my chakra into fire, and then I use shape transformation to shape my chakra into a large ball. And then I blow the fireball at the enemy."
