Chapter 2: Reincarnation
"Reincarnation?" many people chorused as the words faded away into color.
The scene in front of them was blurry, sludgelike lumps made out by colors alone.
Wei WuXian received a kick just as he opened his eyes.
"Stop playing dead!"
Many eyes darkened at once.
The kick threw him backwards, headfirst into the ground.
At once, many people hissed many people grabbing their heads and a nauseating feeling filled their senses. Wei WuXian, who also felt it, only glanced up at Lan WangJi and checking his friends and family if they were alright. Then, he couldn't help himself and snorted, "That was nothing,"
'That's a lot of courage you have to kick me, the Patriarch.'
Wei WuXian's previous smiled vanished and he sat up, "Wait- those are my-"
"Thoughts?" CangSe Sanren answered, "Yes, they are,"
Wei WuXian sputtered, "Mama!! Those are my thoughts and everyone's going to-"
"A-ying," Wei ChangZe gave him a look and Wei WuXian, who has never received much parentalship, crumbled under it and pouted, leaning back into his husband to sulk.
It was the first time hearing a human voice in a few years, let alone such a loud and annoying one.
Being able to feel everything, everyone's head was buzzing and swirling.
"Whose land do you think you're living on? Whose rice are you eating? Whose money are you spending?"
"Lan Zhan, Lan WangJi's, and Hanguang Jun's!" Wei WuXian answered brightly, his parents laughing at his antics.
"You can't spare us...we all feel sick and you're joking around," Jiang Cheng held his head.
"Who said I'm joking? Lying is forbidden, isn't that right Uncle?" Wei WuXian looked at Lan Qiren.
"Yes, A-Ying," Lan Qiren let the name slip due to the headache and Wei WuXian choked.
"What's wrong with taking a few of your belongings? Everything you own should be mine anyways!"
"Who is this brat?!" Yu ZiYuan thundered.
"He's treating you worse than an animal!" Jin Ling complained, "Even Fairy is treated better!"
"Who?" Jin ZiXuan and Jiang Yanli chorused.
"His dog," Jiang Cheng answered.
"You named it Fairy?" Jin ZiXuan looked scandalized.
Wei WuXian piped up, "It's Jiang Cheng's fault. He had dogs too and there were called Jasmine, Love-"
"Shut up and let us watch!" Jiang Cheng roared.
The blurry room cleared up and everyone could finally see the horrible room. It was obviously not a place someone should be staying. Along with the sight, there was a male staring down. This person had slant brows with a sickly composition, drenching him in spite, "How dare you tell Mother and Father? Did you really think anyone in this house is going to listen to you? You actually thought I was scared of you!"
