It's George's 72cd birthday. You sigh and look out the window. Your best friend George had died in 2001 due to lung cancer. And knowing that today was his birthday, and you can't celebrate with him, saddens you even more.

A knock comes on your door, and you get up and answer it. And there's Paul, smiling at you, but sorrow in his eyes. "Hi, Paul." you say, inviting him in. "Thanks, Y/N. I brought you something." Paul says, handing you a box.

You smile at Paul. He's always a sweet heart. You open the box, and inside is a letter, and some pictures. You look at the pictures first. They show you, George, and The Beatles. You smile, and see one picture with autographs on it.

You've never seen it, but it's addressed to you. You read Paul's, John's, George's, and Ringo's signature. And then a note from all of them in George's hand writing:

Y/N,
Thanks for being our best friend!
Your truly amazing!

You look at the letter. It's George's hand writing, and you smile. The date at the top reads 11-26-01. Just a few days before he died, you say to yourself.
And the letter reads:

Y/N,
I feel as if I can't go in anymore. I know death is near. So I have to confess in this letter. I've always been madly in love with you. Pattie nor Olivia could compare to you. I wish I would of told you sooner, but there is no more sooner for me. Y/N, Paul is to give this to you on my 72cd birthday. And there's one more thing......

You look in the box, and pull out a necklace. Engraved in it are these very words, "I love you." Tears spring into your eyes. You turn to hug Paul, but he's gone. You look on the ground, and there's a rose. You pick it up, and written on a card, "Your not spending my birthday alone."

You look up, and see George, smiling at you. He hugs you, and says, "Y/N, remember me. I love you. I always have and I always will. Forever."
