It was twenty years ago today, Sgt. Pepper taught the band to play...

"Boys!" you shouted, while chuckling.

The song lied. It was 1956, and you where trying to teach John, Paul, George, and a lad named Richard.

"Sorry, Y/N." George says, sitting down on his stool, guitar in hands. "John, James, get your butts in the fucking stool before I glue them there."

Paul sighed, and sat back down. John, well, being the rebellious person that he was, rebelled. "No, I will not sit down."

You jumped up off your stool, knocking it over. "You want a bet?"

"Yeah, I bet I could get you in bed easily."

You walked over to him, and grabbed his nose, "I'll turn your nose upside down, so, next time it rains... YOU DROWN!"

John wrapped his arm around your waist, "You're already clinging to me, doll."

And with that, you turned his nose.

"Ow! Ow! I'm sorry!"

Lessons resumed after that incident.

Then, "Y/N! Y/ N! We want to put you in the Liverpool Gazette!"

You open the door, and the man grabs your arm and rushes you with the boys to pose. "Okay, smile!" he says, snapping the photo.

"Ok, boys, lessons are over for today. Want to stay for lemonade and cookies?"

They all nodded, and ran to your house. All except John. "Look, I'm sorry, Y/N. I just really like you and..."

You giggle, and grab his hand. "Come on. Let's catch up with the others.

A week later, at guitar lessons, you showed the boys the newspaper. "Look at that." Richard says, pointing to himself.

The title read: Sgt. Pepper Teaches The Band to Play.

"That would be a good song one day."

Now, it's 1966, and you bought the album. As you listened, you smiled.

"Y/N! Open up before the fan girls catch us!"

And there, at the door, where the lads you taught so well, who became the worlds greatest band.
