I'm going to make a separate book for Journey, so this is the last story of Journey for this book. I'll still continue this book and I'll be posting short stories on here, obviously. Anyways, I hope you enjoy.
Rei and Journey lay curled up with one another, limbs tangled with one another's. It was Saturday and they hadn't had any homework due. Journey's mother was out with some of her friends, most likely day drinking. Rei's father was at work again, trying to earn as much money as possible, so his daughter would always be taken care of, even if they had enough already. They lied in comfortable silence on Rei's bed, appreciating each other's embrace.
Hours passed as they held each other, their content smiles never faltering. The silence was eventually interrupted when they heard scratching at Rei's window. Looking over, they both saw a black and partially white cat. It had a little, perfect, white circle around one of its eyes, the irises both being green. Considering Rei'd bedroom was on the second floor, they were quite surprised to see a cat scratching at Rei's bedroom window. Then they remember, it's a cat, and were no longer surprised.
Rei opened the window and the cat pounced in immediately, landing on her floor. "Heyo, kitty!" Rei greeted the cat, petting its soft, furry head. Journey bent down and stroked its back. "It kind of looks like our baby! We have a child!" Rei gleamed. "I... That's not possible, idiot. We could adopt, but, you know..." Rei looks a little amused, but doesn't say anything, she just nods, in response.
Jou and Rei sit down on her bed, the cat joining them. As if nothing happened, they laid back down with the cat. They were practically hugging one another, the cat laying on top of them. They didn't say anything, just laid there with the cat. The sun was setting, and the three of them were beginning to feel drowsy. They all had a long week, they were finally relaxing. As they drifted off, Rei mumbled to herself "I'll never let you go, I promise." The others hadn't heard her, due to them already being asleep.
This was a short story for you all since I haven't been updating lately. I'll be making a book for Jou and Rei soon, dw. We'll see if Rei keeps her promise or not. I hope you've enjoyed so far. (Also, I changed Appearance and Attributes 2 a bit.)
