Eyes - Chapter 6

"Do you want me to sing for you?" Chaeryeong softly asked while patting my back.

Leaning into her arms is something I love to do. Ever since we've became together this is what I always do to her.

It's been already 1 year since we confessed to each other. It still feels surreal and I can still remember everything so vividly.

I'm happy. Really happy. Knowing that someone loves me more than myself. Our relationship is stronger than ever, Chaeryeong never failed to make me feel loved and make me feel insecure.

In the span of one year. We already know everything about each other. I must say that we really click well. We're soulmates.

Our relationship is kept secret. Only both of us knows about it. It's also not that hard to keep it a secret since only two of us are living in this house.

Both my parents only calls me and doesn't visit here. I think it's already been 2 years since they came here. They're staying in our another villa.

I'm used to it. It's great that I have Chaeryeong by my side. I have no one like her in this world. I have no one like Chaeryeong.

Listening to Chaeryeong's singing is the greatest way to relax me. Her voice is very soothing that makes me fall asleep.

"Chaeryeongie" I softly called her name.

"Hm?"

"I love you."

She chuckled. "I love you too, Jin."

"You're extra clinging these days huh? You must've missed me." I heard her laugh.

Chaeryeong went away for a week. My sister visited me a week ago so Chaeryeong had a week to rest. It's very boring without her. I think I'm going to die in the past week without her. She's essential to me.

"I missed you." I shyly confessed making me blush. I definitely look like a tomato now.

"I missed you too."

I sat properly removing Chaeryeong's hands on mine.

"What are you doing?" Chaeryeong asked me. She must be stunned.

"Come near me." I commanded her signaling to move closer to me.

"Why?"

"It's a secret. Just come near me!" I excitingly said.

A pair of hands held my face. "I'm near you now."

She suddenly gave me a peck on the lips.

"Yah Lee Chaeryeong! You!" I removed her hand from my face. I heard her laughing so loud.

This was not I'm planning to do! Lee Chaeryeong!!

"I thought you wanted me to be near so I can kiss you!" She's really teasing me now. Testing my patience, ugh.

"No! That's not what I want to do, today!"

"What then?"

"I want to touch your face. I've never done that." I seriously said.

There was silence between us after what I said. I may not see her face but I want to feel her.

Thinking of something to say. Chaeryeong held my hands and placed it into her face. "Here. Touch my face as long as you want."

I smiled.

I can feel her smiling. There are little dimples on her face. She's pretty, I'm sure.

Her pointed nose. Her silky hair. Touching everything in her face softly. Makes me want to see her.

"I wish I could see you." I whispered.

"Is that what you want?" She asked.

"I want it so bad. I want to see you, Chaeryeong." I sighed while still holding her face.

"Is there anything you want to see besides me?" She jokingly asked me. I removed my hand from her face and slapped her shoulders.

"No! Before, I wanted to see the stars but now I only want to see you."

"Then let's make a promise." She held my hand and grabbed my pinky finger.

"What promise?"

"A promise that we will never leave each other's side so when you have your sight back, you can see me."

I nodded. A promise. That sounds good. A promise with my soulmate.

"Okay. Let's promise to never leave each other sides." We crossed our pinky fingers and I heard her chuckle.

I was blind and you can see. And that was the first time I wanted to see something more than the stars.

I wanted to see your face.

We both promised to never leave each other.

But some promises are meant to broken.
