In the room decorated with hundreds of books and diagrams, sat a small child with light pink hair and fluffy dress. Her lips plump yet tiny, with auburn eyes and wavy ponytail. Normally you probably wouldn't care for a child sitting in a random room, but she is sitting on the Emperor himself!

August Von Pommes, the wise and just Emperor of the glorious empire Pommes, was not doing his works and instead was clinging to his youngest child. "Ah my baby is almost 3 years old," he cried. "please stop growing, Lunaris!"

With her father hugging her while whining, the little Princess frowned. She was just reading picture books in her small study, and here he came barging in. She had a crying father on her tiny shoulder, he is very heavy and she did not want this, at all. "Father hugs too tight! Hurt!" She pushed against her father with those tiny arms but she couldn't escape.

"I'm sorry, my baby." August loosened his hold. But he couldn't help it! Her birthday will be next month, it's just too fast! "Soon you will be three and then four..." He whined. "Then five and you will be able to use magic and marry some random nobody and leave Dad..."

Hearing the word "Magic", Lunaris perked up, of course she ignored everything else in his ramblings. She had seen her Papa used Water magic before, and since then, she wants to do it too. "Lunar will get magic at five? Father, really?" Her eyes brightened up, she asked August.

"It's 'Dad'!" August protested. "And yes, at five, children will get tested for their affinities, and will be taught how to manifest magic!" He smiled at his cute and curious daughter.

"Affifity? Manifest?"

"A-fin-i-ty," He stressed the syllables. "it means your talent at a certain element or elements. And manifest is to create and use magic!"

"Oh! What will Lunar get!!?" Lunaris jumped up and down on her father's lap.

"Well I can guarantee you will get the Light element. Since that is the unique element representing our royal family." He poked at Lunaris' soft cheeks.

As he continued to explain to his little Apple, a man approached with quick strides on the other side of the door. The man wore a formal outfit that is decorated with medallions after medallions, he carried a long sword by his side, his pink hair flutterred as he strides toward the study. Following behind him were two boys, a 5 years old and an 8 years old, who speedwalked to catch up to the General. The pink-haired man stepped up to the door, his hand raised to silence the guards and kick at the study's door.

*SLAM*

"August Von Pommes!!" His strong voice pierced through the study, making both the father and daughter jumped.

The Emperor slowly raised his head. He knew what he did wrong and he was just praying to the Judge that he won't die. "Yes, my love...?" His arms tightened around the tiny Princess.

The man that come barging in was no other than the Light of the Empire, and the Papa of the little Princess, Gerald Pommes. Gerald had come into the royal study this morning, only to find his cousin, Duke Enderyn, doing paperworks in place of his useless husband. Especially after the morning exercise, Gerald's temper was off the roof. As he walked out of the study to find the useless Emperor, his little Apples approached and told him that their useless father is bothering the youngest again. Emphasis on again. Hearing the word "my love" coming out of this man's mouth, pretending to be all innocent, became the final straw for Gerald.

"Paperwork." He spat out one single word. He frowned harshly at the man hiding behind his 2 years old daughter.

"Winter can handles it for a minute, it's alright!" The Emperor smiled sweetly, not knowing that he was digging a deeper grave for himself.
