As the villagers packed the entire village with meat and vegetables everywhere, Matthew and June sat in Suka's house, questioning him.
"... then how did you get that?" Matthew pointed at the tooth-like souvenir with the symbol of water.
"This, Matthew..."
Suka placed the necklace in Matthew's hand.
"... is the only key to open what covers Atlantis. It's a secret door, no one knows about it except me and my tribe. The door will lead to a very secret part of the island which is highly protected. Look for the missing hole which will fit this key perfectly."
Matthew stared at the tooth with great interest. He looked up, "Wait— you're saying I can keep it?"
Suka nodded.
"I need a break from being the Guardian of this secret location, might as well step down and pass it on."
June gasped with excitement as she hugged Matthew's left arm tightly. He looked at her and smiled; he looked back at Suka.
"Thank you," he said warmly yet gratefully. Suka nodded.
Outside the hut, Matthew and June joined the feast. Surprisingly the fish tasted the best. Matthew liked it so much he actually lost count of how many he actually ate, all he knew was that he took the very last one. June was also enjoying all the food, the meat were well-prepared, and the vegetables were fresh and somewhat delicious. Alexander was more focused on being at the centre of attention. He just sat down at one spot the whole way through being a huge sense of humour. June and Matthew, however, didn't understand a single thing he said, but it was a good chance to sneak off and have some quality time.
Back at the same cliff they went the previous night, Matthew and June halted and faced each other.
"It's been a good while, hasn't it?" Matthew smiled. June smiled back.
"Yeah... at least Alexander won't be here to interrupt us trying to better than how we did it before." she said. Matthew could see that she was staring lovingly at him. He smiled warmly as he slowly wrapped his arms around her waist and they kissed. June wrapped her arms around his neck, causing them to go the closest they have ever been.
It took at least of what seemed like the rest of the afternoon until they finally broke apart, arms still wrapped around each other. Matthew had never felt like this before. He felt comfort. June stared into his eyes. She thought his eyes were extremely dazzling. She didn't feel nervous to tell him how she exactly felt...
"I love you," she whispered. Matthew went redder than he already did.
"I-I know," Matthew whispered back quickly, unsure of a proper answer. This was probably the most romantic yet somewhat awkward moment he had so far, which gave him a twist in the stomach. But it somehow turns out well, he thought with a smile as they leaned in and kissed briefly before actually breaking apart and heading back towards the village.
"Where have you two been off to?" Alexander asked when he saw them return.
"Just spending some quality time," Matthew said.
"Really? You two weren't off doing anything off the line now, were you?" he said, narrowing his eyebrows at them in suspicion.
"Yep. Nothing." said Matthew with a simple shrug.
"Okay...?" Alexander said slowly before facing back to the crowd.
