After lunch, I went to the meeting for other play projects. Helen was spending her time with Anna discussing her costumes.

When my meeting done, I walk back to my office. Helen still not back. I lay on the couch and open my phone just to scroll through my social media.

30 minutes passed. I got up and decided to get ready to go home. I gather my things and put it in my bag. I placed my bag beside Helen's bag.

Helen came into the room with a big smile.

"Hey you" I said.

"Heyy" she respond.

"You look very happy. Did Anna show you her pantomime skill?" I said jokingly.

"She can do that?" She asked genuinely curious.

"No she did not" then I laughed.

Helen rolled her eyes and hit my arm playfully.

"I just saw my costumes and Anna says she'll recreate the bloody dress with paint and stuff. She'll make it look like a real blood. I'm so excited!" She explained with excitement.

"Do you realize that your character is pretty scary?" I raised my eyebrows.

"I do. But it still exciting" she laughed. I shook my head and giggled.

"Are you ready to go home?" I asked.

"Yep. Let's go homee" she said happily.

She grab her bag and a book under it and walk to the door. I just noticed that she's still carries the book that she borrowed from me. The Carol book.

We get in the car and drive home.

"You still reading that book?" I asked pointing to the book that rested in her lap.

"Yess.. this book is so.. umm.. interesting" she smiled shyly.

"Oh really? What's so interesting?"

"Umm.. the plot. And the fact that they risked their relationship with men to pursuing their true love. Their relationship very complicated with the age difference, the backlash against the same sex relationship and also the stigma upon that matters but they ended up finding a way to be together because that's their faith" she said.

"Wow. That's really thoughtful explanation. All I get from that book is the excitement of having a relationship with middle age women" I said jokingly.

"Ohhh dear you have a poor judgment on this book!" She laughed. Then I laugh with her.

Our laugh subsided and there's long silence for the rest of the car rides. A comfortable silence.

When we arrived at home I just realized that I forgot to get us dinner because I usually just eat leftovers or frozen food that have been on the fridge for ages.

"I forgot to get us dinner on the way home. Do you want anything? I can order Chinese or pizza or pasta!" I told her.

She didn't answer, she just walk straight to the kitchen and open the fridge and the countertop. I followed her behind.

"I'll cook!" She stated.

"Are you sure? Can you even find something edible on that fridge?" I asked.

"I can make you pasta. You have the ingredients. Not all the ingredients though but they'll do just fine" she said.

"We can just order it though. You don't have to spend any energy to cook."
