It's been a week since my first date with Helen. We even sleep in the same bed every now and then. She's now not hesitate to kiss me when she had a chance. Not publicly yet though, still in private.
Helen and I haven't done something more further than kissing and making out, something more intimate like having sex. I promise her we will take everything slowly until she comfortable and 100% sure about our relationship.
Anyway..
Helen's play will be up next week. She's so stressed and nervous about it but also so excited. She keep doubting her own acting skill. And it sometimes irritates me.
"What if the audience doesn't like my play?" Helen keep pacing back and forth in my office.
"Calm down love. I've already watch you practice and your rehearsal so many times and I think your play is amazing!" I told her.
"But you're my.. umm.. girl- umm.. close friend"
"Just say i'm your girlfriend darling. Don't be shy like that" I said jokingly and laughed.
Helen rolled her eyes and chuckled.
"Yes.. I'm sorry.. what I'm saying is... you're my girlfriend and your opinion on my play is.. it doesn't count." She said.
"Hah?! My opinion doesn't count?!? How come?" I put my hand on my chest pretending to be offended.
"Well.. you know.. you love me.. so basically you'll tell me all the good things I want to hear" she said.
I shook my head and chuckled. I stand up then walked to the couch.
"Come here darling" I sat down and patted the space next to me.
Helen sit beside me and leaning her back against me. I'm hugging her from behind. She let out a deep breath. I put my hand on her head and stroke her hair.
"I understand that my opinion might be biased because of my love to you but when it comes to your play and your talents, I want you to trust me, I want you to believe in yourself. I've watched your practice so many times and I think you did an amazing job. Carrie, Ross, Ben, even Andre amazed by your performance." I told her while keep stroking her hair softly.
"But I'm so nervous. What if I messed up?" She growled.
"Trust yourself and do your best! That's the key. Stop doubting yourself. Everything is going to be okay. I promise" I said.
Helen sighed. Sitting up and look at me deeply.
"Thank you. You really good at calming my chaotic mind. Thank you for your love" she said and cupped my face.
"My pleasure darling. I will always be your number one supporter and your biggest fans" I smiled widely.
Helen leaned in and captured my lips. She kissed me softly and I immediately kissed her back. Few moments later we parted but she rest her forehead on mine. She smiled.
"You gave me so much love and support. I'm so lucky to have you" she whispered.
"You deserve the world Helen" I said and give her a peck on her lips.
**Time skipped to the play night**
Helen still in her dressing room doing makeup and other things. I was busy checking on everything and everyone. The play will be starting in one hour.
"ONE HOUR GUYS! MAKE IT QUICK" I shout to all the crew.
I walked to Helen's dressing room to check on her.
