"Uhm. 5 years is a while huh?" Tanjiro nervously chuckles.

Tanjiro's head was full of questions to ask his old friend but before he could get started asking, he picked up 2 new scents the smelled 'familiar'

"Aoi-sannn. We got the herbs you wanted..!" Somebody shouted with a groggy voice

" Ah! You guys are back, thanks a lot for bringing this. Oh yes and by the way our old friends finally decided to visit." Aoi replied

"Hmph! I dont know them nor do I care! Let's just eat already..!" says another familiar voice in his usual tone.

"You stupid boar man! Stop pushing!"

"First come, first serve Monitsu!" he replies as he pushed Mr. "Monitsu" to the side to enter the estate quicker

With Tanjiro now picking up the scent better, he sooner or later pinpointed where the 2 scents were coming from.

"ZENITSU! INOSUKE! It's been too long. Man I'm so happy I finally get to see you guys again!!"

"Kamaboko Gonpachiro. FIGHT ME!"

"Shut up!! So Tanjiro. Been a while huh? Is Nezuko Chan with you?" Zenitsu asked

Behind the kitchen counter, a young woman of average height with long reddish hair appears.

"NEZUKO-CHANNN~!"

Nezuko was caught off guard and was startled, so she fell on the floor from the shock and finally for once. Zenitsu managed to retain his calm and help the young Kamado off the floor.

"Im so sorry Nezuko Chan, I didnt mean it."

Tanjiro delivered a small flick to Zenitsu's forehead, warning him.

"Careful with my sister.."
"Yeah yeah. I know."
"KENTARO! You-you.... FIGHT ME."

And just like that, a huge bump appeard in Inosuke's head from the smack Tanjiro delivered without anyone noticing

' so fast ' Kanao thought who just barely happened to make out what happened

"Ah! Kanao! We're back." Zenitsu greeted

Without any proper response, she simply bowed her head to atleast show some manners

"Still doesn't talk huh? Anyways, Inosuke! Let's go take a bath, oh and Tanjiro come join us." Zenitsu offered

"Sure..!" He accepted while proceeding to take off his shirt in front off the others.

The guys did not particularlly care. However, its a different story for the girls. Aoi had her hand cover her face, and Nezuko was just pure embarassed of her brother's behaviour.

"ONII-Chan!! MANNERS!"

Tanjiro then apologizes to everyone of his behaviours. Everyone eventually let go of it. By everyone, I mean everyone except Kanao who was struck by Tanjiro's upper body build. It's a sight she won't be able to get off her mind for a while.

"Kanao? You okay? Hellooo. Earth to Kanao?"
Tanjiro starts approaching with still his shirt off

Kanao looked like she can pass out any minute now due to hard redness. As Tanjiro continues taking steps towards her, her mind becomes more more and more unsteady, not able to focus with Tanjiro on her mind

"IM FINE. SORRY IM REALLY ALRIGHT!"
Kanao replied running off somewhere, trying to avoid everyone for now

"Well well.. If it isn't Tanjiro... Someone completely changed Kanao-Chan."

'Cute, I think I might just push it' Tanjiro thought letting out a small smirk and a smile

With that all over with, Kamaboko squad all took a bath and prepare to finish their last meal of thr day until a new day comes

•With The Kamaboko boys•

"Say Tanjiro, how was it living with just the two of you with Nezuko-chan for 5 years?" Zenitsu asked

"Hmmm. There were rough times but most of the time, were both happy that we finally got to live a normal, peaceful and steady life."

With Inosuke just swimming around the tub, finally decided to speak

"Tanjiro. Do you think there's still demons out there?" Inosuke asked with a tone voice

' my name, he said it correctly, but what's up with his question though '

"I doubt it Inosuke. We finally put an end to Muzan so it's most likely that there are no remaining demons anymore."

"But there's still a chance, right?" Zenitsu joined in

"Yes. What'll you guys do? If there are still demons"

"I'LL SLICE THEM OBVIOUSLY!!"
"As energetic as always, stupid boar."

The 3 of them sooner or later came out of the bath perfectly dried with towels in their neck.

"Fuah, that was nice." Tanjiro says in his usual happy go lucky voice

"It's time Tontaro, Supper."
"First come, first serve." Zenitsu comments while pushing Inosuke out of the way to get to the kitchen before the starving boar man

"They never change." Tanjiro smiles.
"Ah. Tanjiro!"
"Oh Kanao!! Good Evening."

'Pretty, her hair's down.'

"U-uh. Yes, Good evening to you too."

'Uwahhh. Why does he look more mature with his bangs, this is too much. Calm down Kanao Tsuyuri,'

"So, did you need something?"
" Um-um... No, nevermind." Kanao replies while dashing off to the kitchen.

"Strange." He mumbles
"ONII CHAN! Hurry up, the food's gonna get cold!"
"Coming!"

•After diner•

"Nezuko Chan. Once you're done with the dishes there's 2 rooms just across Kanao's room. You and Tanjiro can use those."

"Thank you so much, Aoi-san. We owe you."
"Don't mind it."

•Around midnight• (yes, im lazy)

"Chilly, brr. Wait, that's..."

Just across the garden, a female figure can be seen under the moonlight

"Ah. Tanjiro."
"KANAO!"
"Quiet, you'll wake everyone up."

Kanao waves to Tanjiro signalling him to take a seat with her.

"Can't sleep can you, Kanao? You got something on mind?"

"No... what about you? You can't sleep either?"

"Lies. Tell me what's wrong with you, you give off a sad scent."

' right. Tanjiro has a great sense of smell '

"Hey, so how did it feel for you when you killed Upper Moon 3."

"Akaza huh? Well, it was a huge relief that I finally got a huge burden off my back and that is to revenge Rengoku-San. However, I still hated myself after that for not being in more battles. If I made it to the fight with Upper Moon 1, I could've saved Tokito-San and Genya I think. Well, the battle's over so all we can do is to remember everyone who sacrificed and gave their all for us. For us to live a happy life."

" You... you really are a kind hearted person, I love it!" Kanao complimented with Tanjiro blushing right after

" Uh-uh Thank you. Speaking of happy life. Kanao can you take a look at this mark?" Tanjiro pointed to his demon slayer mark.

" I've had some dreams that this mark would be the cause of my death, and also that I won't be able to live past the age of 25, so.. I want to spend my remaining 4 years.... with you!"

"No." She coldly replies
