"For real?" The young boy said with a blank with a mixture of shocked face

"For real." She replied

"Eh? But why? I really need you though! You're the only one. The only one I want and need. So why?" Tanjiro asks

"Im.. not sure. Anyways lets go to sleep, we can discuss of this topic some other time." She says facing away from the young man,

In reality, She did not want to say what she said and now she's regreting everything.

"Wait!" Tanjiro says while rushing towards Kanao's back hugging her from behind

"Im sorry, I shouldn't have asked you that earlier, please forgive me... I really.. just need you with me, but if that's your answer then.. *sigh* It is what it is." Tanjiro says to the yound woman

"You.. idiot.." she says while breaking out of Tanjiro's comfort to suddenly appear behind the Kamado to deliver a quick peck on the cheeks.

"Thank you Tanjiro, goodnight."

The next day, Tanjiro finds himself laying down somewhere that's definetly not his bedroom.

"Huh? Where am I? What happened? Nezuko? Zenitsu? Inosuke? Aoi-San?! and someone else.. who was she again?"

"Oh! Its Tanjiro. Nezuko-Chan, can you finish up the breakfast? Ill go fetch your brother."

"Sure thing Aoi-San."

Just as Tanjiro was making his way around the estate, he bumped to someone he didn't know but it felt like they've met before to him.

"Ah Tanjiro, Good morning." The mysterious girl who happened to be Kanao to everyone else except him

"Good morning... u-uhm..? Your name again?"

"My name? C'mon Tanjiro.. you know me, right?"
"Im sor..ry.. but I don't"

I don't... these words kept repeating inside Kanao's head causing her to cry and break her heart into pieces. Kanao don't want to hear a single word anymore, and so she ran off far. Far away from the one that seemingly forgot about her out of the blue

"Idiot..."

•Noon•

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.. yada yada yada."

"NEZUKO-CHAN~~ Happy birthday!!" Zenitsu congratulates the now 20 y/o Nezuko Kamado

"You've really grown up huh?" Tanjiro says while patting Nezuko's head lightly"

"Geez Onii-Chan, It's not like you're not growing yourself." She replies pouting

The kitchen was filled with the squad celebrating Nezuko's birthday, and unexpected to Zenitsu, Inosuke and Aoi are together. Arguing

"WOAH! YOU! You're in the way!"

"I don't think so boar head! You're not taking another plate. These are reserved for Tanjiro and Kanao."

"Then why are there 3 plates?! That's totally meant for me!"

"HANDS OFF, Somebody else is coming here later. He sure is taking his time."

As everyone was calming down and are preaparing to end Nezuko's birthday party. 2 plates still remains. 1 for Kanao and 1 for whoever is coming to the estate later

"2 more plates?" Tanjiro questions

He then remembered about the girl he encountered earlier, the one that he seemingly forgot about and so. He took 1 of the plates planning to give it to 'that' girl. And after a while of searching, there she was. Under the 'Victory' tree. The eldest Kamado casually approaches the girl.

"Um.. miss? Here. Food for you."

"Tan-...jiro, thank you. Much appreciated." She replies, taking the tray from his hands

"Hey so uh... you were saying something that I should know your name right?" Tanjiro asks

"Forget it.. It doesn't matter anymore, but... it's not fair, you remembered them. Nezuko, Aoi and the others.... then why not me?"

"Hmm? Remember? Of course I'll remember, we've been friends for 5 years!"

Ding. The word 5 years triggered the different conscience inside him as if it was his Domain Expansion ( forget that ). It was blank, all white , nothing to rest your eyes on, it's really like and Infinite Void

"Kamado Tanjiro right?" An unknown voice could be heard

"Who said that? Who said my name!?"

"First name's Kanata, cant say the last name."

The unknown figure finally emerged as a tall looking young man who's just about as tall as Tanjiro

"You.. Who are you and what do you want from me?"

"I don't have much time left so I'll get to the point... save us.. you have to fix everything with 'her'. You should be forgetting about someone right now so it's up to you to fix it, to remember 'her'."

"Her? Who? What are you even talking about? Save you? There's no more demons out here!"

"So Toko's brother was right huh? There used to be demons. Man, I'm glad I got to meet you. Here's my full name... Kanata Kamado.. till we meet again great-great grandfather."

"Wait! Where are y-!" But before he could even finish his sentence, everything was over , he was back in the real world. The genjutsu has also been released (ignore this aswell)

"Hey Tanjiro!! Are you there!"
"Wh..aa. OH SORRY, UM. I GOTTA GO SOMEWHERE REAL QUICK."

"What is he talking about? Great-great grandfather? Toko? Kanata Kamado? Save them? Who even are they?" He mumbles to himself running away far enough where Kanao has no vision if him

" Her... That kid kept saying her, but.. who's she? Come to think of it.... his looks.. voice.. hair reminds me of..."

"Please God, tell me this is all a dream"
