No doubt. This is where George also lived.

Lando drove around the block according to Darlene's direction, looking for her friend's house. A not-so-large white house adorned with big french windows came into view. There's a lady waiting outside the porch wearing a long dark colored robe, smoking her cigarette.

"That's my friend," Darlene pointed out. She chuckled to herself a little and didn't expect that her friend would wait outside like that.

"Darlene!" she shouted and quickly ran towards the car. Lando stepped out of the car as well and waved awkwardly at Severine. The blonde girl returned him a smile, the cigarette still stuck in between her lips. He realized that the two girls were the same height, but Severine has a slightly more toned body instead of Darlene. There were visible little veins popped alongside her forearms when she reached for her cigarette. Is she an athlete or something?

"Look at what that prick did to you again," she was clearly upset while she observed Darlene's bruises on her face and neck. The french accent slipped here and there subtly.

Darlene brushed it off and hugged her friend, sighing. "I'm so sorry to trouble you like this." she murmured. "What the hell are you talking about? You obviously need help. Just stay here for a while. I'll get the room ready for you." she said quickly. Just before she stepped into the house again, she turned to Lando who was just standing there leaning on the side of his car.

"I'm sorry I haven't introduced myself. Severine Blanchet." She offered her hand towards him. Well damn. He realized that she's stringkingly beautiful. Lando straightened up and took her hand, "I'm Lando.." he was hesitant to mention his last name and realized he didn't think Darlene even knew his last name.

Her handshake was strong. That was one hell of a grip. Severine took a look into his features and squinted her eyes a little. I think I have seen this guy somewhere... "Norris?" she asked.

Lando gulped hard. "Yes. Lando Norris. Nice to meet you," did he sound friendly enough this time? He never thought that introducing himself would be this nerve wrecking.

"Right, Lando. Would you like to come in? Thank you so much for taking care of this reckless child," she sneered jokingly at Darlene from afar who's shrugging her shoulders as if saying 'bitch what can I do?'

The boy shook his head quickly. "Thanks but no need. I'll leave you two to catch up. I think I'm going to pay a visit to my friend's house. He lives very close to here. Just let me know if you guys need anything. I think Darlene also left her phone," he said.

"Right. I'll save your number for safety precautions. Just in case Devon strikes again," Severine cringed at the thought. "Make sure you also save mine too, okay?" she said to him.

"Got it. Have a nice evening, ladies. Get some rest." Lando waved goodbye and got into his car.

"Thank you so much, Lando," Darlene said sincerely.

He drove away as the two girls walked into the house hand in hand.

George was streaming on twitch when the doorbell rang. He paused the game and excused himself to the chat to get the door. "Look who's here!" he greeted Lando.

"Yeah man, sorry for showing up suddenly." he said and walked into the house. "What happened, man? Want anything to drink? I'm streaming by the way." George said as they walked towards his room.

"I'll let you know after you finish with the stream," Lando smiled thinly and George got the idea. Something has happened. George ended up showing Lando to his stream and the chat got wild because of the sudden guest appearance. They ended up playing a couple rounds of games together in multiplayer mode and decided that it's a wrap.
