It had been a long week for the Krimli's. Seher had been running around with their daughter while prepping for Yusuf's birthday. Yaman on the other hand, had been busy with the company and a new business venture.

Despite how busy he was, Yaman had been looking forward to spending some alone time with his wife. It was a Saturday evening and he had talked to Seher that morning, so that they could reserve some time before the night ended.

"Tonight, how about we watch a movie," He told his wife as he fixed his tie. Seher nodded. She had been so busy with Yusuf's party that she almost looked absentminded. Yaman walked closer to her and reached over to caress her face.

"Is everything okay?" He asked her. Seher looked at him and nodded, "Yes, it's just that I'm a little nervous...Yusuf wants to invite some of the kids from his school, but I don't know how Ziya abi would react. What should I tell Yusuf?"

Yaman frowned. Yusuf had been very excited about having his birthday party and he was especially excited about making friends with the kids in his school. "Maybe we could make the party in the garden. Also, it be best that only a few kids are invited...for abi's wellbeing."

Seher nodded. She was about to leave to change when her husband stopped her.

"Now that we solved that issue, how about tonight we solve another issue." He whispered onto her ear. Seher looked at her husband feeling a bit embarrassed.

"Ya--" She was about to start scolding him when she stopped herself. They hadn't actually been really intimate with one another for a few weeks. Most nights Yaman would stay awake throughout the night in the office and she did miss him.

"Okay." She nodded. Yaman smiled, "Thank you, I'll prepare everything."

Seher nodded trying to hide the blush that was rising on her cheeks. Yaman didn't notice and planted a kiss on her rosy cheek. "I love you." He said, before walking to his office.

It was seven thirty and Yaman was impatiently waiting for their date night. The kids had been tucked into bed and Seher was in the kitchen making some popcorn. Yaman walked around their room, he had set the projector and was now waiting for Seher.

He licked his bottom lip and sat down. He wasn't sure if the room was getting hotter or if it was just the nervous walking he had been doing.

He was about to stand up to look for his wife when finally the door opened and Seher came in. She was holding a bowl of popcorn. Yaman's eyes lit up as he looked at her. He walked over to her and took the bowl from her hand before placing it in the side table. "Should we really watch here? I mean, what if we drop popcorn on the bed..."

"It'll be fine." Yaman assured her. He walked toward the bed and sat down before motioning for her to sit beside him. Seher looked at her excited husband. He almost seemed so child-like.

"What are we watching?" She asked. Yaman smiled.

"Thriller." he told her. That way he could cuddle her and if she got scared she could embrace him. The thought of Seher shaking and holding on to him brought him so much happiness.

"No, it's night. I won't be able to sleep if we watch a thriller. Let's watch a comedy instead."

Yaman looked over at her a little annoyed. Her green eyes were looking at him like she often did. It was the look that told him that he wouldn't be able to do anything else. Seher wouldn't budge and he'd only end up getting in trouble. "Fine." He said, not bothering to convince her.

Seher smiled. They watched the comedy. He didn't really hate it. His wife chuckled like a child as they watched it. It was even better than that stupid thriller, he thought as he looked at her. He slowly began to reach his hand over toward her hand when she slapped his thigh.  Her actions startled him a bit, "Did you see that?" She said with a chuckle. Yaman nodded though he had no idea what was even happening in the movie. His wife left her hand on top of his leg, not even realizing what she had just done. Her attention was still on the film. Yaman looked over at the movie, but he was going crazy. He couldn't even pay attention anymore.

He looked over at his wife. Her sweet smile as she watched the film, completely oblivious to his inner tormoil. "I'm going to the bathroom," he managed to say before slowly standing. The room was getting to hot. Once he was in the bathroom he splashed himself with cold water. "Get a grip Yaman," he told himself. He had become so sensitive when it came to Seher. It was crazy how his self-control would run down the drain when she was close by. After talking to himself for a few minutes he finally got out of the bathroom feeling much better. However, he was met with a disheartening scene.

Seher was there looking over at him, a very excited little child was sitting on his side of the bed. Fantastic, he thought trying hard not to curse his terrible luck. "Baba," the little girl said with an ecstatic smile oblivious to the inner turmoil of her father. "Hello my dear," He said trying to smile. He motioned for Seher too scoot over. His wife did.

"What is she doing here?" He whispered onto her ear.

"She came in...she told me she couldn't sleep."

"uhm...my dear, you should be sleeping." Yaman told the little girl. His daughter looked at him with a frown, "Can't I sleep with you?"

Yaman looked at his wife, who was looking at him understanding his pain. He motioned to the little girl. "Tell her to leave." He inwardly said with pleading eyes.

Seher looked at him and shook her head, "You do it." she whispered.

"It's our date night," He mumbled.

"My dearest," Seher began, "How about I get you to sleep, let's go to your room."

The little girl shook her head. Yaman stood up, "Come on, I'll take her." he said.

Seher nodded. He reached over and took hold of the little girl. "Baba, why can't I sleep with you two?"

Yaman didn't say a word. There was very little to say anyway. He felt bad for his daughter, but at the same time he knew that if he explained in child terms, the conversation would never end. It took him a while before the little girl ended up falling asleep. By the time she had done so, he was exhausted. He no longer expected his wife to even be awake. He felt deflated.

He opened the door to their room feeling no hope. He could no longer hear the movie playing. He sighed and opened the door. Seher was already laying down, but she was still awake. There was hope. He smiled walking toward her side of the bed. "You haven't slept yet?"

Seher shook her head. She scooted over so he could lay down beside her. He excitedly got under the covers feeling so much happiness. Seher rested her head on his chest. "It really was a long day today." She said.

Yaman nodded.

"Let's wait a while before we make another Krimli though," He told her. Seher chuckled.
