Chapter two: The morning

"OPHI WAKE THE HELL UP!" Hattori shouted. "I'M UP I'M UP" Ophiuchus yelled back. "Okay good, get ready by 6:45 kid" Hattori said as he left the room. Ophi chuckled, oh father won't knock will he? He always goes to my room without my consent. Ophi groaned as she buried her face in her hands, it's so earlyyyy. Ophi's alarm clock then beeped. "Jesus Christ" Ophi said under her breath.

It was 6:15 in the morning and it was also a "good time" to go to school. "Reina, what's the date today?" Ophi asked the Reina (the Alexa in this au). "It is November 14 2137 and the day is Tuesday" Reina said in a robotic voice. Ophi sighed and got out of her bed. Ophi got out her white blouse, black jeans, got out a white hoodie, a purple choker, some pair of socks and put them all on. She put on her watch and headed downstairs.

 "Good morning Ophi" her dad said as he put the rice on the plate. "Good morning dad" Ohpi said back. Her dad sighed, "Ah work, I really don't want to" Hattori said. "Well none of us want to but we still have a little hope" Ophi said as she sat down. "Yes, that part is true" Her dad said as he put the plate in front of Ophi and gave her some milk. "What else do you want for breakfast?" Her dad asked her. "Oh this is fine" Ophi answered. "Okay then I'll go get my stuff and when you finish I'll give you a ride" Hattori said. "Okay, sounds good!" Ophi said back. Hattori nodded and went to his office. Ophi then sighed as if she was holding her breath.

Once Ophi was done she wiped her mouth and went to her room to brush her teeth. She then put a bit of perfume, grabbed her backpack and ran downstairs. Once she met up with her dad, her dad asked "You ready to go?". "Yes!" Ophi replied. Her dad nodded and then they got into the car. The ride was silent between the two but it was comfortable because there was music blasting on the radio. Hattori had to admit that the music here was way better on earth but certainly not better than the songs Lothair made.

Once they stopped to the school, Ophi got out of the car. "Ok, dad. I'll see you after school! Love you!" Ophi said. "Bye love you! Oh and also don't forget our game after school!" Her dad yelled back. "Yes okay bye!" Ophi quickly ran.  When she got to the school she took a deep breath and sighed. "Hey where were you Ophi? I was worried that you wouldn't come to school today" Her friend Capri said to her. "Sorry Capri, it took a while to get ready this morning. Had a bit  of a hard time picking out clothes to wear." Ophi said. Capri shrugged her shoulders "Okay then" Capri said "Cmon, let's get to our lockers to unpack our things already!". Capri grabbed Ophi's arm and sped through the hallway full of students. Ophi ran with her to their lockers begging her to slow down. "Capriiiiii, I just ran to the front of the school and now I'm running againnn." Ophi whined. But Capri refused to slow down and instead rolled her eyes and continued to drag her through the hallway. 

When they got there though, Libby and Saggi (Sajji is how its pronounced) were already there. "How did you guys get here before us?!" Ophi managed to breath out. Even Capri was panting. "I really don't know" Libby said as she chuckled. "We're probably more faster and sneakier than yall" Saggi said as she put her arm around Libby's. "Yeah you underestimated us!" Libby said laughing. They all laughed with her. "I guess we did! I'll make sure not to do that again" Ophi said. "Haha yes!" Capri said. 

Then Ari walked by. "Hey guys! How are yall and what are you guys doing right now?" Ari asked. "Oh we were just chatting and we're fine!" Ophi replied as she leaned on her locker. "I guess we'll just have to meet up with the others later." Capri said as she shrugged. "Yep true" Libby said. Then school bell rang, perfect timing. "Well, see you guys later after class!"Ophi said as she walked with Ari to their first class.
