TW: Mentions of r

"What do you mean it was all your fault? Of course it is!" Ophi exclaimed.

"No, you don't understand" Mars said, "It was all a lie, Mirel never got (ya know, tw) and we never wanted to leave your side".

"Then, why did you leave our side with Mirel?" Artemis asked the Martian.

"To be free" Mars said quietly, though it was loud enough for the others to hear.

They starred at him with confusion, shock, and disbelief. What did he mean to be free? Wasn't he already free? Thoughts and questions rushed quickly through their minds, but they knew that most will be unanswered.

"What do you mean 'to be free'?" Artemis asked. There was a few moments of silence before Mars could even answer.

"It's just I..." He began, "I've always been so busy helping you guys whenever I was still with you. I was so busy that I was tired and it felt like I was gonna pass out any moment. I couldn't even control anything in my life because of all the things I had to do. Even my love life with Mirel, we had to keep it a secret because, well, we just needed to for our own personal reasons. It was all to much to the point we both wanted to leave. So we lied for you guys to let us leave".

The three looked together with Helen looking to the ground but still remaining eye contact with the other two and the other two having a silent conversation with looks.

"We're so sorry, we didn't even know it was all a lie, and we didn't even know about you guys! You should've just told us that you guys needed space and privacy..." Helen said, as she began to cry. Mars felt a pang of guilt for Mirel's little sister. He went up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"There there, it was my fault. I came up with that plan, I didn't tell you guys, I lied, and well, yeah. I should be the one saying sorry." Mars said as he tried to comfort her.

"It's okay, but I still wanna say sorry." Helen said as she playfully punched Mars as he pretended to be hurt.

There was a happy feeling in the atmosphere, around them of course. The zodiacs just seem to watch it all like a movie, well, a boring movie to be more specific.

"Ahem" Ophi 'coughed' and rolled her eyes at them. The five heads in front of them turned around and noticed what they were doing. A flush of embarrassment spread across their faces as Helen tried to laugh it off, but miserably failed as it was awkward and it made it already more awkward for them.

"Um, so, uhhhhhhh" Ari tried to begin as she broke the silence, "uhhhhh, so um. Uh yeah, uhhhh ummmm" she tried to form a sentence but miserably failed and sighed when she just gave up. Ophi knew why Ari did this but she was, well, weirdly okay with the silence, even if it was actually awkward, like really awkward.

"Let's just go back inside..." Artemis said as she sighed, "you guys can come to if you want of course".

The couple looked at each other, almost as if having a conversation with their eyes. They actually looked like they were telepathically communicating, and they were.

"Sure" Mars said with a genuine voice, "Just make sure the shelter is still big enough to fit all of our stuff in... we kinda did some stuff our own but that's beside that point!".

Artemis chuckled, "It's okay man, we have plenty of room".

The zodiacs looked at each other, smiling, tired from all of this, but there was a hint of happiness from all of them.

Ophi walked up to Cancer and nudged him gently, "Sooooo" she began as she turned her head to him. She put her elbow on Cancer's shoulder and smiled mischievously.

"Yeah?" Cancer said in confusion.

"When are youuuuu going tooooo..." Ophi hesitated, "doooo the thiiing?". Cancer made a face, clearly still in confusion. Ophi glared at him and then he instantly knew what she was talking about.

"Oh shut up!" He exclaimed, "And when are you going to confess to them?" he said the comeback. Ophi pretended to look offended but both friends laughed it off anyways.

"Eh, I don't know man, maybe later" Ophi said as they stopped laughing.

"Well, better do it soon. Or else she might die soon or someone might steal yo mans" He replied with a sassy tone.

"Same as you" Ophi said back.

"I know, and I will do it... right now" Cancer said with a smirk. Ophi then had wide eyes, looking about she was going to scream, but she covered her mouth. She started jumping in excitement with muffled screams in her hand.

Cancer walked up to Leo, but before he could even say anything, Helen got something out of her mouth.

"Soo, why'd you make the deal with the stars to give up their baby stars?" She asked.

"I didn't" Mars said with confusion.

They all looked at each other in shock.

If it wasn't him... then who was it?
