Zodiacs: Delunions Rewrite the Stars

Chapter ten: The plan

"So, what do you think the plan should be?" Saggi asked. The three in front of them sighed and looked at each other for a few moments. Helen then took a deep breath and went to a corner nearby and sat there. The zodiacs were there and all but Aqua stared at them in confusion.

"Just say it" Artemis said as she crossed her arms and looked at Amaethon. He looked back at her and sighed.

"Let me give you guys a bit of a backstory before we talk about a plan" Amaethon said.

He explained the backstory of the three and the martian, saying how they were good friends, in fact best friends before. While Amaethon said this, they were all smiling about it. But when he got to the part where Mars betrayed the three, they were all just looking down on the floor. 

"We found him doing it to Helen's sister. Great thing we were there to save her. There was full of dead bodies including creatures everywhere. He stole so many things, and we found out he manipulated so many creatures. He promised not to, he promised, and he broke it." Amaethon said, he was shedding a tear and went to Helen who was still sitting in the corner, "You say it, I'll make sure Helen is okay".

Artemis nodded and looked back at the zodiacs.

"Here's the plan" Artemis said in a calm voice, "We'll have to go to Mars's shelter so that we know what he's planning to do with the stars, it might be good or bad, but it's unlikely gonna be good. He's probably there trying to get Aqua back and destroy us all so we'll have to sneak in very quietly but quickly. If we're there for to long, our scent might be caught.".

Artemis explained the rest of the plan on how to get in and what to get from the shelter. She also told them how to get out and not get caught. The Zodiacs had a few questions, some were answered, some had an unknown answer, some just couldn't be answered. 

"So, do we all know the plan?" Artemis said once she was done explaining. They all nodded their heads and Artemis turned at Helen and Amaethon, who were standing behind her. 

"Ya'll heard that?" Artemis asked the two. They both nodded as well. 

"We need to have some things with us before we go though" Helen said.

"oh yes! That's right, I almost forgot" Artemis said she got up from her seat, "Follow us" she said as she did a hand gesture.

The zodiacs nodded and followed Artemis to another room that was connected to the room they were in. The room was filled with shelves of weapons and armor and many other stuff for self defense. Probably why they had to hide this from everyone but the Zodiacs and other important people because of how strong these weapons and armor are.

But they knew that the armor was not needed so they proceeded to get something small for them to wear for protection. They got them and wore it. The big weapons were not needed as well so they got smaller ones. They all got small things for the plan because it wasn't to much, it was all just one thing they needed to do, find out what Mars is doing.

Once they all got ready, Artemis handed out small trackers and a teleporter that can make you teleport anywhere. But they needed to be careful and memorize the coordinates because if they didn't, there would be big consequences. Helen wrote down the coordinate on paper and duplicated the paper so that she can put it in the zodiacs hands. 

"All right, we're all ready?" Artemis asked as they were all done. Everyone nodded.

"Okay, if Helen did not give you the coordinates please ask for it now" Amaethon said to the zodiacs.

Nobody said anything, meaning that they all got the coordinates. They typed the coordinates Amaethon told them, number by number. They pressed enter and disappeared from the room and ended up outside a house. Surprisingly, they landed so smoothly and quietly outside the house. The others popped in as well and followed the plan. 

Once they got into the house, they looked around carefully and quickly since Mars was in the house and could catch anyone's scent. It took a while to find some things but they eventually found something suspicious.

It was a box that held the newborn stars, it seemed like Mars knew what to do as he would steal them and ask the older stars to let him do his job. The older stars obviously said no, so each time they said no to his offer, Mars would steal the newborn stars. 

There were so many newborn stars stolen so he stole the young stars every time. Everyone was shocked to know about this and proceeded to steal some other stuff he might use. Once done, they quickly teleported back to the base.

But there was something going wrong. The other Zodiacs besides Ari teleported since she was checking up on the three.

"Oh no, it won't teleport us back" Helen said.

She started panicking and later realizing that the other two couldn't either. They later got caught by Mars and things couldn't get so much better for the four. 

"Go!" Artemis shouted to Aries.

"What?! I can't leave you behind!" Aries said.

"It doesn't matter!" Amaethon shouted as he typed in the coordinates into Aries teleporter. She was quickly teleported back to the base, leaving the other three behind.

The others looked at her in confusion.

"There was in issue, they couldn't teleport" Aries said.

"Well, we need to get them back" Ophi said.

The problem is that they didn't know how.

How do we get them back?
