"You should go talk to him, he looks like he's interested." Scott nudged Mitch in the side with his elbow. Mitch blushed and brushed Scott's elbow away. He glanced at Alex once more before turning to talk to Scott.

"No, I couldn't possibly talk to a model like him. My face is an insult compared to his."

Scott laughed and stood up off the runway stage.

"Mitch, have you forgotten that we're in modelling school? He's not the only hunk out here, but he seems to be the only one that catches your eye." He winked at Mitch and got on the stage to practice his walk.

"I just don't feel like I'd be good enough. I don't even know why I'm even here." He joined Scott on stage and did a few struts. He showed Scott a few moves and pointed out some things he could improve on.

"What do you even mean? You're way better at modelling than me, you're hot, you're skinny, you're gorgeous, and oh yeah, you're hot."

Mitch giggled and took a pose.

"How hot am I?" He started exaggerating his steps and walking on the runway all weirdly. Scott just chuckled and watched his best friend.

"Haha Mitch, you're so hot. Alex would be all over you."

As Scott mentioned his crush's name he turned at a wrong angle and his foot slipped off the stage.

Everything seemed to go in slow motion for Mitch, he heard Scott gasp and his heart pick up speed, like in those cool action movies. He closed his eyes and waited for the impact against his head but was surprised when he only felt strong arms around him.

He opened his eyes to find himself staring into none other but Alex's gorgeous eyes.

"Mitch? Are you okay?" He heard Alex talking to him but it didn't quite register.

'He knew my name?'

"Mitch!!!!" He heard Scott scream his name and jump off the stage to run towards him. "JESUS CHRIST MITCH!!! DON'T YOU EVER SCARE ME LIKE THAT!!! EVER!!!"

Mitch's head was ringing. He didn't know if it was from the fact that Alex was still holding him or if he really did hit his head, or probably because Scott was screaming at him.

"I'm fine." Were the only words he could mutter out until things started getting fuzzy.

"I-I'm fine...." He said once again and then everything went black, he could still hear the faint sound of someone screaming.
