Models (Part 8)

Scott put his plate down and got up to answer the door.

"It must be Avi." He exclaimed as he opened the door. He was smiling when he saw Avi with a bag full of cat food but his smile quickly faded when he saw who was standing next to him.

"Hey man, I hope it's okay that he tagged along. We were hangin' out when you called."

Scott clenched his jaw and nodded, he opened the door wider to let them in.

"I hope I'm not intruding Scott. I wanted to tag along and see how Mitch was doing too."

Scott just shrugged and headed towards the living room.

"Hey Mitch, Alex is here!!!" Mitch coughed and choked on his drink when he saw him. He wasn't expecting him to come over so suddenly. He thought it would be only Avi.

He shifted on the couch uncomfortably. "Oh um...Hey Alex!" He tried to sound excited. "What are you doing here?" Mitch glanced at Scott but he looked just as confused as himself. This was awkward.

"I stopped by with Avi to see how you were doing. Are you feeling any better?"

"Much better, thank you." He said while sneaking another glance at Scott.

This didn't go unnoticed by Avi and he made a point to be sure to question them later. But Alex on the other hand couldn't be anymore clueless.

"Well that's good." The air suddenly got a lot more tense. Mitch just felt so awkward. It was weird because just 2 days ago he had an unbearable crush on this man and now he wouldn't even look at him with the same eyes he uses to look at Scott.

"Well I guess we better get going. You probably need to rest some more. It was great seeing you though."

Mitch nodded and got up to hug him. "It was nice seeing you too, thanks for stopping by and thanks for the cat food Avi, you're a life saver." He hugged Avi as well. Avi held onto him tightly and whispered into his ear. "You better call me later, lover boy." Mitch could practically hear the smirk on Avi's lips. He blushed and Avi let go, he winked and made his way out with Alex.

After they had left, Scott and Mitch cuddled up on the couch with Wyatt sleeping peacefully on Mitch's lap.

"What did Avi say to you?" Scott broke the comfortable silence and looked over at Mitch.

Mitch smirked and just shrugged. "I don't remember."

Scott pouted. "Awww, come on Mitchy.....Tell me!!!"

Mitch chuckled. Scott acted so much like a child at times.

"He just told me to get some rest." Mitch giggled at Scott's frustrated huff. He laid his head down in Scott's lap and sighed.

"I'm glad you're here Scott."

Scott smiled and started playing with Mitch's hair.

"I'm glad too."

"But you know, you shouldn't be missing classes for me."

Scott leaned down and kissed his forehead. "I'm missing it because I want to. I want to be with you and make sure you recover." Mitch blushed and turned his head up to look at Scott.

"But I'm fine, you don't need to stay."

"I want to Mitch, really."

He smiled and placed his arms around Scott's neck pulling him down and kissing him sweetly.

"I love you Scott."

"I love you too Mitch."
