Emilie's POV
Scott and I were getting annoyed by Aiden and Ethan following us since these evil ninja things that attacked Isaac also attacked Sage. "You guys going to be doing this all day?" I asked. "All day." Ethan said nodding. "All night." Aiden said. "I refuse to be followed into the bathroom." I said and they nodded scared. "Is this about being in my pack?" Scott asked. "This is about you all being the target of demonic ninjas." Aiden said. "You mean the demonic ninjas that pulled swords out of their chests and completely kicked our asses?" Ethan said, I nodded. "Yeah. Those demonic ninjas." Aiden said agreed. "We don't need anyone to protect us." I said sternly. "They were looking right at Sage when the sun came up." Ethan said. "And they also appearently disappeared. Argent thinks that they could just come out at night." I said. "Since this is our first experience with demonic ninjas, we're thinking we should play it safe." Ethan said. "All day." Aiden said. "And all night. Okay, one thing first. We need to talk to Stiles and let him know everything that happened last night. Without you."Scott said to the new pups. "No." Aiden said. "Yes. And I don't want you listening in. No wolf hearing." I said. "How would you two even know?" Aiden asked, oh he's going to be an interesting pup. "I'm a true Alpha and Millie is a luna. You have no idea what we can do." Scott said as we found Stiles. "So then she starts talking about phosphors and the key having chemicals on it, right? And so that made me think of the chemistry closet and the fact that someone had to let Barrow in.. It's gone. Okay, it doesn't matter though. It doesn't matter. I've still got the key. What the hell? I had it I had it here. I had it here this morning, I swear to God, I had it this morning." Stiles said to Sage as we walked up to us. "The key you were talking about last night?" Sage asked as we stood there. "Yeah, I showed it to you, right? Didn't I show it to you?" Stiles said. "No, you just told me about it. I never actually saw it." Sage said. "I was here a couple of hours ago. And the message left to Barrow spelling Kira's name was right there on the board in my handwriting and I had the key to the chemistry closet." Stiles sakd. "So you unlocked the chemistry closet so Barrow could hide in it from the cops and then you wrote him a message to kill Kira?" Scott asked. "I know how it sounds But look at this. This is the news report that came out about Barrow when they caught him, okay? About the shrapnel bomb that he used. See this? See what he did? He put nuts, bolts and screws. And then he hid the bomb and the detonator in a box that he wrapped as a birthday present. What does that sound like to you?" Stiles said. "Coach." I said. "The joke we played on Coach. That was my idea. You remember? That was my idea. That's no coincidence. It can't be." Stiles said. "I don't want to sound like I'm trying to tell you that you're wrong. But I don't think you're trying to kill people either." Sage and Scott said. "It was here. It was all here." Stiles explained. "Dude, are you feeling okay? You're looking really tired." I said. "Yeah, I'm fine. I just haven't been sleeping really." Stiles said. "Why don't you go home? Take a sick day or something." Scott said. Scott, Sage, and I were walking and the twins showed up. "Did you tell him?" Ethan asked. "No. He's got enough on his mind right now." I said. "If they're coming for you guys in a few hours then so do you." Aiden said. "What if it's not me? Okay? What if I'm not the one they want?" Scott said, I nodded. "Who else is there?" Ethan asked. "Emilie we don't want to loose another Mom." Aiden said scared. "Boys, I'll be fine." I said running my fingers through their hair. "Guys, I appreciate you wanting to protect me. But I have to be alone for a bit. So... Sorry about this." Scott said and I got on his bike with him. "Hopefully these weren't important." I said holding up parts and screws throwing them away. We got to Scott and Sage's place finding Sage and Kira already there. "How did you get away from the clingy twins?" Sage asked. "I took apart their bikes, again." I said. "Again?" Kira asked. "Sage, could you lock the door?" Scott asked. "Yeah. We're running out of time." Sage said. "We know. But Allison, her dad and Isaac are working on something that could help." I said. "I don't want to sound pessimistic or anything, but you really think that's going to keep them out?" Kira asked about the locked door. "Actually, we have a kind of security system. Things happened a couple of weeks ago, a lot of things, and we had mine and Scott's boss help make a few changes to the house." Sage said. "Your boss? Do you work for a security company or something?" Kira asked confused. "No, he's a veterinarian." Scott and I said. "You had a vet put in your alarm?" Kira asked. "Yeah, sort of. But I can't arm it. Only my mom can." Sage said. "Where's she?" Kira asked. "Don't worry. She'll be here." Sage said, "Oh! Sorry. We're going to be okay. I promise." Scott said. "We? Or me?" Kira asked. "All of us." I said. "You didn't bring the twins here because you didn't want them to get hurt." Kira said. "We don't want anyone getting hurt." I said. "Then why did Sage bring me? If those things are coming after you, and anyone who gets in the way gets killed, then shouldn't I be somewhere else?" Kira reasoned, Crap I hate when pups give reasoning. "I'm not letting you get hurt." Sage said. "And I don't want you getting hurt. Especially because of me." Kira said. "It could be any of us." Scott said. "I don't think so. I have to show you something. Have you ever heard of something called a kitsune?" Kira said. "Nope." The three of us said and Kira opened a book and showed us a picture. "That looks like what happened to you at the power station." I said. "When a kitsune rubs its tails together it can create fire or lighting. It's called foxfire. I don't have any tails." Kira said sternly to the two. "How'd you know what I was thinking?" Sage asked. "Because kitsune are also psychic. I can hear all of your thoughts. Just kidding. The sun's setting." Kira said. "Ah. Yeah, I know. Are you scared?" Scott said. "Not right now. I'm supposed to be back before dinner." Kira said. "Tell them you can't make it." I said to her. "What should I say?" Kira asked confused. "Say, uh, you're going on a date." Sage said, really you had to say that. "Are you sure that's a good idea? You know, foxes and wolves don't really get along." Kira said. "That's just a drawing. In a children's book. My mom's back." Sage said and we saw Agent McCall. "What are you doing here? And why do you still have a key?" Scott asked. "Funny you mention keys. Because while I have a key to this house, I'm not exactly sure how you got a key to my office. Let me help you out here. This kind of thing usually begins with something along the lines of, it's not what you think. Or, I can explain." Agent McCall said. "Dad, let me help you out. You need to leave." Scott and Sage said. "I will. With a satisfactory explanation." Agent McCall said to us. "Go get a warrant." Scott practically growled out. "I don't need a warrant. I'm your father." Agent McCall said, yeah an abusive asshole one dude. "No, you're a gene donor. I got my hair color from you. And that's all I got. So you're not allowed to play tough dad with us." Sage said. "Hey, what's going on?" Melissa asked walking in. "Maybe one of you should explain." Agent McCall said. "Scott, Sage, EJ." Kira said. "Who the hell is this?" Agent McCall asked and I was ready to fight seeing the things. "Dad, no! Dad, wait Dad. Mom, the ash! Mom, now! Do it now!" Sage yelled and we saw Derek and Violet. "All of the baseboards are ash wood?" Derek asked. "Uh, yeah. It was Deaton's idea." I said. "And where the hell did you come from?" Scott asked. "We've been following you." Violet said. "For how long?" Sage asked. "All day." The two said. "I'll be in the bathroom." I said and went to use it, I washed my hands heard a gun shot and scream. I ran downstairs. "Guys, this isn't good!" Melissa yelled and we saw Agent McCall injured. "Need to call for backup." Agent McCall said shocked. "How bad is it?" I asked. "From the way that his arm is rotated, the tendon looks torn. He could be on his way to a collapsed lung." Melissa said. "Mom, those things, they're not going to leave until the sun's up." Sage said. "At the rate he's bleeding, he's not gonna make it that long. We got to get him to the hospital." Melissa said. "Should we call Stiles's Dad?" Scott asked. "I don't know. Is that going to just get more people hurt?" Melissa asked looking at us. "Maybe. I don't think gun work on them." I said. "Then what does?" Melissa asked. Aiden and Ethan sadly got here. "It's Kira, right? You going to tell us what you are?" Aiden asked. "What? What do you mean?" Kira asked. "Aiden." Ethan said.  "Watch! See that? She can't go through it either." Aiden said. "So, what are you?" Ethan asked curious. "Boys you do not ask a girl that." Violet said, yeah that I am not chiding them for. "She's a kitsune, idiot. Use your eyes. You can see it all around her. The younger ones give off an aura. She just hasn't learned how to conceal it yet. She probably doesn't know what kind she is either." Derek said. "It's not you. It can't be. What I saw around you, it didn't look evil." Sage said suddenly. "But isn't that what a shape-shifter does? Isn't that why a kitsune is called the trickster spirit? It's supposed to trick you. How are you so sure? How do you know I'm not the bad guy?" Kira said. "I've seen the bad guys. And you're not one of them." Sage said. I motioned Scott so we could leave and give them a moment we found the others talking in the other room. "I wasn't going to hurt her." Aiden defended. "Not yet." Violet said. "Why do you think we're here, Derek and Violet? For a study group? We're here to protect Scott and Emilie." Aiden explained. "We're trying to fight for them." Ethan said. "I'm sure you are. I'm sure you'd kill for them. But are you willing to die for them?" Derek said. "Yes." The both said. Soon the things were testing the mountain ash. "What are they doing?" Sage asked. "Testing for weaknesses. Guys? We have a problem." Ethan said and we saw Agent McCall injured badly. "I need to speak to Scott and Sage." He said. "You're kidding, right?" Melissa asked. "Don't patronize me Melissa. You know why... You know why I really came back, don't you?" Agent McCall said. "And as usual your timing sucks. You're not talking to them. Not like this. So, you stay awake and we're gonna get you out of here as fast as we can." Melissa said. "Allison, please tell me that you have something. They're here. They're trying to get in. And it looks like they're gonna' be able to do it." I said calling Allison. "Okay, okay listen. They're Japanese demons. They're called the oni. They're looking for someone possessed. Someone with a dark spirit attached to them." Allison said. "A nogitsune." I said. "How'd you know that? EJ?" Allison asked. "Just Tell me what else." I said. "Okay, they won't hurt you. They know you're supernatural but once they do this check, once they realize that you're not carrying with you this dark spirit, then they won't hurt you, I promise. All they're looking for is the nogitsune." Allison said and hung up, I turned and saw Kira. "I'm right, aren't I? They're looking for me." Kira said. "They're looking for a dark spirit. And I know it's not you." I said. "Scott, we're going to have to do something." Derek said and we walked in the living room. "Don't do anything."Scott said. "Is he serious?" Aiden asked. "He said don't do anything. Trust him." I said. "You're gonna be okay." Aiden said after the Oni found out Kira wasn't evil we got Agent McCall to to the hospital for his injury. "Hey, stab wound to the left chest. Possible collapsed lung. Pulse is weak." Melissa said to the doctors. "We'll find Stiles." I said and we walked and found him his back was turned. "Stiles? You okay?" Scott asked. "Yeah, fine. What's been going on?" Stiles said. "A lot." I said to my brother and he nodded.

A\N:New chapter and also the twins are starting to see Emilie as their pack mommy. I love writing Emilie as a pack mom.
