Before I knew it we were both blushing, staring at each other in complete silence. None of us us knew what to say, the longer no one said anything the heavier the atmosphere got. The P.A. system rung and couldn't have rung any sooner, "All students still on campus after 2 p.m. will be asked to leave the premises." I looked at the clock and it was already one thirty.

"Um, I guess I'll see you later then. Goodbye." I tried smiling as I got up from my seat. One of us had to be happy.

"Oh yeah, goodbye." We both exited the school at the same time and as I was walking in the other direction I made the worst mistake; I looked back. I saw him standing still, motionless, and his face looked like he was about to cry and shout as if he was in pain. Instead though, he walked away towards his house. I've hurt him. I'm sorry.

When I got home I noticed that my mom was out, she probably was working. I decided to eat alone, I deserved it. I didn't eat a lot, I didn't have an appetite. The first thing I did was try to get ahold of White-kun.

Me: Hey, are you okay?

He didn't answer. It wasn't normal for him to not text back right away.

Me: Are you mad at me? Please tell me.

Still no answer, I was getting worried, almost sad.

Me: Please, don't leave me. I need you.

White-kun: Im okay. Im not mad. Im just scared.

Me: You're never scared. What's wrong?

White-kun: I'm scared that you don't want to see me anymore.

Me: Of course I want to see you. You're my only friend.

White-kun: Thank you I needed that :)

We ended up texting for hours. Some of our conversations were about the most trivial of things, others were about what if we dated. Would we be outcasts or would we be the talk of the school. Would people shun White-kun. There are so many outcomes, but none of them mattered as long as we were with each other.
