We decided to see each other today, we decided to meet at the local noodle house; The Lotus. I got there and, surprisingly, White-kun was waiting for me. "I see you finally made it. I already ordered for us." That's our thing, unless instructed, the first one there orders.
"What did you order me this time? Spicy udon, sour ramen, or chicken pho?" White-kun always orders me something different every time, this is how he forces me to try new things.
"Nope, I ordered your favorite," he said with a confident look on his face.
"You got me my plain mai fun?! What's the occasion?"
"Us, we're the special occasion. " He had a smile on his face. It reminded me why I love him so much. "Are we going to date in secret or should we tell people about us?"
"I don't know, I'm not the type of person you should be asking this question to. How about you ask your parents?"
"I'm not asking them, what would I even say, 'Hey, should I let people know that I have a boyfriend?' Yeah, not happening."
"Are you going to tell your parents that we are dating?" To be fair I was going to tell my mother when I got home.
"Of course I'm telling them that we're dating, I was just hoping that you'd be there with me when I tell them," White-kun has been trying to get me to meet his parents ever since we met, "You still need to meet them anyways."
"If it's that important to you then we can meet them next week," why did I just say that? "I promise I won't back out last second too," why did I say that?!
"Oh my gosh, really?! I'll pick you up at... ummm. You know what, when will you be ready?"
Jeez give me second, I'm trying to register what I just said, "I'll be ready by ten o'clock, but to be safe you should pick me up at ten fifteen," our food came and we ended talking about what I should wear since I can't look at clothing without thinking I'm fat in it.
"I still think you should wear your vest, it makes you look more 'fancy'," White-kun always pushes me to wear the vest. It was the last thing I saw my dad wearing and White-kun only saw me wearing the vest once. When I realized he was the one.

White-kun invited me to an end of the month party during November, I politely refused his offer. "No thank you, I already have plans for Friday."
"Ooo, look who's Mr. Social. Who's party is it?" White-kun is always pushing me to be more social.
"I'm not going to a party, I'm doing something that deals with family." My father died in November, and every year we light candles on the last Friday of November. "It's important to me, so I'd like it if you respect my decision." White-kun has a problem with my Anti-social life.
"Okay, then I guess I'll see you December," I knew that White-kun was up something, he would never leave me alone with these kind of things. "Bye, and tell your mom I said hi!" He shouted as he ran back home.
I went started walking home too, it was cold enough so that I couldn't feel my nose. The entire walk home I was thinking about what White-kun was planning to do. "That's when he'll tell me that I'm a werewolf!" Yeaah, I get paranoid easily. I got home and my mom told me to set up for tomorrow, you know; set the candles, prep the food, make a fruit basket, and ready a flower to plant. After that I went to sleep,I needed to get up early for the next day.
I woke up and I got dressed I remember what I wore. I wore a white button up and brown dress pants, I chose not to use the bathroom while I dress so I don’t second guess my outfit. The last part of my outfit was the vest. I keep it close to me, but I only wear it during this day. I walked down stairs to start cooking and I hear a knock coming from the door.
Who would be up during this time of day? “I’ll get it!” I walked to the door, making sure to take all the time in the world, if I couldn’t get my day of being alone with my mom then I’ll make sure to waste their time. “Hello, who is it?” and to my surprise…
“Hi! How are ya’ senpai,” tat I quickly unlocked the door and opened it. My ears didn’t deceive me, White-kun was standing there, smiling. “You going to answer me?”
“Why are you here, you said you would respect that I had to be my mother today?!” I should have seen that coming.
"I have come to the realization that I, being your only friend, should be involved with your family's matters. No need to thank me."
Trust me, I wasn't going to thank you, "You should have told me you were coming, then I could have prepared more food for today," I couldn’t get one day of being an introvert again, could I? "*sigh* Hang on let me ask my mother if you can stay," I went inside and asked my mother. It took a little convincing, but she ended saying White-kun could stay. We ended having a great time this was the first time we laughed and had a good time, it's what my dad would have wanted. It made me realize that one thing made me forget that tragic memory; White-kun.

"I'll wear the vest, but you're paying for the meal."
