Start of Day 1, Monday
I dream in color, unlike most people. The people who appear are people I know. I can taste foods, unlike reality. I feel warmth from these dreams, but when I wake up it's the same thing every time. I feel cold.
"Honey, time to wake up! Just because it's spring break doesn't mean you can stay asleep, and besides didn't you want to go to school today anyway?" That was my mother.
"I'm already awake, and yes I wanted to go," and that's me. "Do you know where I put my underwear?" My name is Books, and I'm a sophomore in college. Have you ever noticed the sound of teeth brushing drowns out the sound of your mom telling things you already know? *squish squish* Hmmm, man I've really been putting on weight since new years, to think that was resolution.
I live close enough to the school where I walk everyday, and today was so cold. Some how it was colder than yesterday. You might be wondering why I'm going to school today. The college just had their midterms and midterms determine if you stay at the college. They're putting scores up today and I'm checking my score, well actually I wanted to check my friend's score. It's not creepy besides, he told me not to look at his score. I also have film club to worry about too.
"Wow, there's a lot of people just wanting to see their score," I started talking to myself as I was walking towards the film room.
White-kun: Did they put them up yet :P
Me: No, the teachers haven't released the scores yet, sadly.
White-kun: LOL whatevs im not even half way to school
White-kun: LOL XD Walking is slow.
Me: You better hurry up, I might just leave soon, there are too many people here.
White-kun: LOL just hang in there =D
That was White-kun, he's my second friend, well my only friend now. The only other person I know is Paul-chan and we got into a huge, friendship ending, argument. I don't want to talk about it, moving on! I got to know him beginning of this year, it was a partner project of helping the freshmen feel welcome in my English class. After the project, we just kept talking to each other. One thing led to another and we became friends.
"Dude, did you pass?"
"I don't know! They haven't put the scores up!"
I notice everyone is talking about this test, I also noticed that the walls at school are thin enough to hear the conversations in the halls. I don't get why they're stressing I guess the geometry questions were difficult but they weren't impossible. Whatever, I guess I'll just keep working on this paperwork. This took me almost two hours, why is it such a tedious job?
"Is it already 10 o'clock jeez, I guess I lost track of time... doing, absolutely nothing. Why do I always start talking to myself? I guess the scores are up by now, what was his test ID? 4696?" As I made my way down to the courtyard I started getting nervous, not for myself though, but for White-kun. "I really hope he passed his test, sigh."
"Okay, I passed, but did he? Let's see 4696..." If your ID doesn't show up you failed. "4574, 4688, 4690, 469... *gasp*!"
