Summary: Something bad had happen to Loki and y/n tries to make him see the good in what happened, but he also knows what happened will never leave the both of them.

Angst. :'(

Y/n was sitting in his room just reading. of course he wasn't actually reading. He was thinking about Loki. Why he hadn't come back in months. of course he expected something like that but he actually missed him. his witty comments and the sarcasm. god, he really missed him. He knew that he wasn't coming back though. But all that still hurt, y/n felt like he was the one. y/n sighed and put his book down, walking over to the tiny kitchen.

he sighed and made himself a sandwich. Without Loki there y/n had become depressed. not really but he was really sad without Loki there. He wasn't really hungry most of the time because he was worried for Loki. he was worried something had happen to him.

of course Loki did almost ruin and destroyed the earth but y/n knew him better, he was sweet, kind and just an overall sweetheart. He sat at his table and slowly ate his sandwich. Then somehow Loki appeared, right in the middle of his kitchen, falling to the ground. Y/n stood up and quickly ran over to his love and gasped. "Loki..." Y/n said hugging him tightly as Loki cried on his shoulder.

Loki's mouth had been sewn shut. He had just string keeping it together which was painfully noticeable. He had dried up blood around the little holes were the string were which made it all the more heart-breaking.

"Hey. Hey your okay. im here." You whispered into his ear which seemed to calm him a little. you felt your heart break. "We can cut them. the strings." You whispered but Loki shook his head fast. "Okay.. Okay came down. we have other things we can do, okay?" I said to him and he nodded slowly and I hugged him again. worst day of our lives.

I slowly help him stand up and bring him to the couch. "Baby..." I say softly to him as tears still come down his face. I kiss his lips and lay him down on the couch while I sit on the floor beside him, well I was going to but Loki pulled me towards him and we both laid squished on the couch. he put his face in my neck and we both laid there.

~~Few hours later~~

Loki was shaking me up. I looked at him and saw his lips which made my heart ache. I painfully smiled at him. "yes my love?" I asked and he pointed to his stomach, signalling he was hungry. You smiled at him and got up, going to the kitchen. you didn't know how he was going to eat but he was hungry so you just shook the thought off.

It had been a few weeks since Loki appeared in my house and he's been getting better. Since he heals pretty quickly (Because he god) and the string slowly began to disappear. But as soon as it was all gone Loki still haven't talked. You understood and didnt pressure him into talking and you both started to use sign language instead. Honestly so much better than talking.

"Baby do you want a sandwich?" You asked Loki and he nodded, you got up and went to the kitchen, but before you could actually enter the kitchen there were two big guards in your way. You gasped and Loki seemed to hear you and come to help you. He froze and his back around the wall. "We have suspected that Loki Laufeyson is staying here, so tell us and you won't get hurt." The guards said not even looking down to you.

"H-he isn't here, I didn't even know where he was." Y/n said lying through his teeth. The guards looked at him and laughed. "Tell us or we will kill you." One said and y/n gulped. "He isn't here." One of the guards punched him and he fell to the ground. He didn't pass out but it hurt like hell. "Hah... I told you he isn't here." Y/n said once again and the other guard kicked you in your stomach. "You can sense Loki was about to come out and just turn himself back in. "No!" You yelled. "He isn't here! Leave me alone!" You yelled and the guards looked mad. One pulled your hair so you could look at him. "If he isn't here. Where. Is. He." The guard said and y/n shrugged. "He could be anywhere, probably around stark tower, waiting for the moment to strike." Y/n said laughing as he spit blood on the guards face.

The guard flinched and purposely hit y/n's head in the ground harder. Y/n suddenly felt more dizzy. "F-fuck you guys. Seriously." Y/n said groaning and the guards just sneered and disappeared.

Loki came running out and helped you up. He looked concerned but he was going to open his mouth but you stopped him. "I'm good. Oh other than the broken ribs and jaw. Probably a concussion." You said groaning again, hearing a ringing. "Loki, baby can you please take me to you hospital?" Y/n asked and Loki nodded, carrying you on his back. From this moment forward you blacked out.

You opened your eyes and were met with a blinding light. "Jesus." You said as you slowly sat up but was stopped by Loki. "You need... rest.." Loki said softly and his voice raspy. "Hey your talking." You said smiling at him, he smiled back softly and looked at your face. It was bruised and you had a bandage wrapped around your head. "You... didn't have... to do that... for me." Loki said frowning at you. "I did. Cant let you leave me when I just got you back." You said touching his cheek softly. "I love you Loki. And I don't want you to leave me ever again." You said and kissed his nose softly making him giggle slightly. "I love you too y/n..." Loki said and kissed your nose

After everything that happened both would say this is the happiest they've felt.
