"Just A Friendly Dinner?"

A/N: Hey guys! Again thank you for the great response but still I got very little comments ( but I am thankful to those who gave me their precious time to read my story). It is Ramadan and I am a student so that's why I am updating slowly but I promise I would do something about the speed in updating. Thank you again. Did I told you before that you guys are awesome!!! XD :P

Kajol is confused and is stucked between the two thoughts whether she should pick up the phone or not. If she don't then it would be a little rude and if she picks and God forbids if he says anything inappropriate to her especially with her sister here, what she would do?

Kajol was having all these thoughts when Tanisha click the green button with telephone symbol.

Kajol shakes her head in disbelief. She looks at Tanisha with a shocked face. Blood begins to boil when she sees her giggling.

'How could she...' , thinks Kajol irritatedly but before she could explode on her sister she hears Shah Rukh's faint voice from her phone.

'Hmm... Hello Hello... Anyone there? I am Shah Rukh... Hello! Kajol???' said Shah Rukh Khan in his usual cracking husky voice.

Tanisha excitedly:" Oh My God!!! He is certainly Shah Rukh. His voice sounds exactly the same as in his movies. Aww this iconic voice."

Kajol grunts at her signalling her to both shut up and to stop being such a stupid over him.

' Annoying! Yes for her, his voice is just annoying but you can't ignore the innocent maturity in his voice.Once you listen to his voice you became addicted to it and want it to always roam in your ears...No! His voice is just like the sound that a rusty old engine makes and nothing more, right!', finishes Kajol in her mind.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh is waiting for someone to answer.

Shah Rukh thinks,' Why is not anyone answering? Is she still mad on me? It's impossible and silly. I mean ,I just accidentally hurts her and she is treating me like a culprit of a murder or something. I did nothing wrong...may be. The thing which is more bugging me is why I am even bothering. If she wants to keep a distance then so it be but no...she has a different influence on me. I never cared about others feeling like that before other than my family members. I just want her not to be upset from me but why??? There are many people who are upset from me but I never cared then why she is so special? No...no.. it's just...I just want my film to be perfect that's why I am doing this so that we come to know each other and that's it !nothing more...', thought Srk when a voice from the cell phone caught his attention.

"Hello! Yeah umm... Kajol speaking...". Kajol thought it was better to talk to him after her idiot sister picked up the phone and besides he might have something important to tell that's why he bothered to call her at the first place and actually she didn't want to cut the phone in front of her sister. Kajol knew her like the back of her hand, her sister will tease her to no end saying 'Ohh you didn't talk to him in front of me, I see' or something like that making a mocking face, which she didn't want to face ...not after she is so much exhausted from earlier events.

"Shah Rukh there. Hey! You took what seemed like eternity to answer.( He said with his signature grin which Kajol didn't fail to remember. How could anyone forget it anyway?) He he nevermind... I called you because Abbas sir suggested me that we should spend sometime together so that we become comfortable with each other. ( He stops and waits for a reply but when no reply came he decided to continue but hesitantly). So I was thinking can I...no you ...I mean can we go out for a dinner together?(He blurted out last part with a speed which surprised even him.) Just for a friendly dinner, tonight?"

" WHAT???" comes the reply in no time. When Kajol realised that her voice was very high from normal she put a hand on her mouth which was before placed on the mouth of her sister. She had been trying to stop her from getting over excited and jumped into conversation the entire time.

"I mean... tonight? I think I am very tire-" before she could complete her sister jumped into conversation as she expected.

" Yeah I am on...", replies Tanisha fully aware of the intense glare her sister is giving her. Tanisha knew that Kajol is not gonna leave her easily after she picked up the phone, she would definitely complain to their mother for her lack of manners so she thought if she is gonna be punished then why not tease her a little bit more and by the way she can't stand some one saying no to a cute guy. He would get upset. He just asked for a mere dinner what's the big deal!

Meanwhile ,Shah Rukh Khan could not believe what he heard from the other side of the phone. For a few seconds he was lost in his thoughts. Did he just heard what he heard? Did she just said yes? No, I thought I heard someone else's voice and she was saying something else. But who could that someone be? If it was some one else's voice then she would have said no after that. May be she was saying no but after that she changed her decision. Who cares ? She has agreed to this that's exactly what I wanted. He smirks as a thought strike him.' After all who could say no to me? (He chuckles at his thought) Ok ok enough of this non sense. I was just kidding by the way.' he adds in his mind before replying.

Shah Rukh Khan:" Ok so Foodfieasta hotel this evening umm sharp 6 o'clock."

After a while-

Srk:" Hun? Kajol?"

Kajol recovers from her shock hearing his voice. What in the world just happened? No no she had to handle the situation before it gets worse.

" Yeah Shah Rukh-" but again she was interrupted.

Shah Rukh Khan:" Oh Thanks God you heard everything. ( he was about to beleive that something was definitely not right there) Ok so See you tonight . Good bye!"

Kajol:" Bye??...no not ye-"

She stops as she realised that he has ended the call as soon as she said 'bye'.

She stand still in her place for a second comprehending in her mind what had just happened. She had just experienced the most awkward moment of her life. She looks at her sister who raises her arms in air signalling that it's not her mistake. Kajol sighs as she has no power to deal with her sister right now. She is drained out but Tanisha has no Idea what is coming her away for messing up with her elder sister.

What is Kajol gonna do now? Will she go with Srk or not? We will find out soon...
