SRKajol...The names meant to be together

WILD TURN

Srk looks shockingly towards source of the voice.
"The h3ll she is thinking? Does she has a death wish? "

Prashant Bhao leaves Srk as soon as he heard Kajol's voice, he turns towards her and starts chuckling wickedly.

He cocks his head sidewise to meet Srk's gaze.
"So, a puny like yourself finally manage to have a girl hun? "

Kajol raises her voice again, unable to stand someone talking sh#t to Srk,"You better leave or do I have to bother police officers." With this she picks out her already dead phone and starts to wave it in front of her face.

Prashant Bhao's smile widens and without breaking eye contact with Srk he speaks to Kajol.
"She is fiesty too. I liked her. I wish if she could join my group ( he joked). "

Srk breaks the eye contact with Prashant Bhao to look at his emerald eyed savior for the time being (he added).

Kajol can read in his eyes that he is saying to stay out of this, there's a slight angst in his eyes may be he didn't like the fact that a girl is trying to save him and his ego is hurt especially in front of a man who thinks he is nothing but a weakling.

"Ahem!!! "
Prashant's interruption startled them. They were zoned out a bit longer than the poor thug's patience level.

"I think I will take my leave then. I already had my fun nonetheless and am a bit tired too ( "and injured too",Srk added in his mind). And I am merciful too, I just don't to beat a crap out of you twice a day. I don't want you to become a handicap. You are a good sparring partner for our group and useful for performing our daily chores after all. Bye bye little one. "

After giving one last nasty look to Srk he took his leave, grabbing some bandages and ointment from the tray of the nurse just arrived for his treatment.

After Prashant took his leave Srk offered Kajol to grab some food from the canteen of the hospital.

Kajol accepted his offer because she herself was very hungary and she could see exhaustiveness on his face and the way he spoke,the frown of his thin brows was screaming that he was still slightly angry.
Or may be she was too overwhelmed by the earlier events and last words of Prashant that she accepted his offer subconsciously.

So here they are, alone in the canteen (God knows why no one is here except them) sitting opposite to each other around a table, eating tomato sandwiches with awkwardness thick in the air.

Kajol is still munching the edge of plain tomato sandwich with her eyes fixed on the man who is gobbling down sandwiches like a monster.

She noticed that he glanced few times at her in between his assaultings on the sandwiches, may be trying to say something or ask something with that frown still plastered on his face.

"Is he still mad at me? But I saved him, didn't I? ugh males, they are wierd creatures."

They are many such questions roaming inside Kajol's mind ( the last words of Prashant still ringing in her ears) that she wants to ask her Co star but a sane part of her is stopping her saying that she should mind her own business, she is a stiff person. What he would think of her? He may also assume she cares for him.
But then there is another dominant part of her that she is trying so hard from the beginning to suppress ,a bubbly and lively part that don't care what others think of her, part that is so different from that cold domineer she always showed him, part that wants know about everyone and their problems ,may be she can solve.

The 'just friendly dinner' has taken a wild turn from a fancy restaurant to a hospital's canteen. Will Srk and Kajol work things together or the awkwardness will keep reproducing? Don't miss the next chapter to find out.
