"What a wonderful boy and lady you both are! Thank you so much children for helping me ", the elderly woman said weakly to Srk and Kajol.
The doctor called them immediately after she gained consciousness since no other family member of her was present.
' what kind of people are they? Her son didn't come even after knowing that her mother just had an accident? What a lowlife! ' thought Kajol when a nurse informed them about this.
"No need for that ma'am, we are glad that you are safe", replied Kajol tenderly to the woman. She couldn't help but feel sorry for her. The old woman was lonely, it was evident in her eyes.
The woman smiled at her and said, "I wish I had such a good child but my children don't care about me, they are busy in their lives. Since my husband died 6 months ago, I was leaving this city for good. We own a farm house in Punjab. I use to visit that beautiful place with my husband. Seriously just living in this city feels like I am wronging the entire world. "
She averted her eyes from them after blabbing out so much with a plain , emotionless face and moist eyes.
Kajol was left out of words. She searches for some words but fails luckily Srk came to her rescue.
"I am sure he wants to see you happy and living tight",he finished.
Old woman smiled at him and gave Kajol a wierd you-are-lucky expression.
"Come and visit me someday in Punjab. I would love to have both of you there. There is a lad of your age who takes care of the farm house. "
The woman suggested them nicely.
Kajol was dumbfounded again.
'I don't think it can be possible. '
"Sure, your wish is our command. " Srk said holding the woman's hand.
'This man is crazy and full of amaze'. Kajol didn't realised she was smiling.
Soon the woman's son came and talked to the doctor about her condition.
"He still didn't pay her visit. " said Kajol to Srk.
"Hmn", Srk agreed as they stared at his back piercingly.
The man turned immediately as he felt eyes burning him from back and made a face.
"Thank you for your help. " he said approaching them.
"Meet your mom first. " said Kajol plainly.
"You both can leave now. Your assistance is not required any more. "
The man was clearly pissed.
"What an grateful dork. Let's go Shah Rukh. " She dragged Srk with her who shouted 'your welcome' as they left the building.
It was short IK but am tryin' to get back in flow and so sorry again for late update. :(
