Castle

Todoroki pov:

A cool breeze floated over Shoto todoroki's face, ruffling his multi coloured hair, as he stepped out of the bright yellow taxi. The driver grabbed his bags out of the boot and dragged them to the old iron gates that loomed before them. 

"UA university huh? Must be pretty darn bright if you got into that uni, good luck staying there though" the driver said with a smirk before walking around to the drivers side. Todorokis eyes returned to the tall brick building that lay beyond the gates.

"Thanks..." todoroki muttered back. He had indeed heard the rumours about the ruthless teachers that expelled students whenever they could get the chance, but that didn't stop him from applying. It was supposed to be the most prestigious uni in the world after all so why not give it his best shot? Of course he hadn't expected to get in on the first try but lo and behold here he was, standing here two weeks after he took the exam. 

"So where are you from? Your obviously not from anywhere in the US" the driver questioned. 

"Is it that obvious?"

"Well yeah you have an accent that's easy to pick out. I take it your from Japan?" 

"Yeah-"

"Awesome there's another student there that's from Japan too, I hear he is brilliant, nearly the top of the class. Anyways that would be $60." Todoroki took out his father's credit card and swiped in the small machine  the driver held out for him. He waited for the small light to turn green before pocketing the card. As the driver got back into the cab and drove away todoroki picked up his bags and started towards his new life in America. 

He walked along a stone paved path theta led up to the front doors 

Todoroki quietly navigated the maze of hallways inside UA University. Wow this place is bigger then it looks, he thought. Having missed the orientation day he was just walking blindly towards the centre, hoping to find someone that could give him directions to the main office 

A/n: Sorry I have no idea how uni works so I'm going with what I know from other fan fics

Todorokis eyes wandered to the ceiling where elaborately carved beams stuck out, creating an illusion that the ceiling was taller then it actually was. Dark oak floor boards, polished to perfection, reflected the lights that were placed on the walls. This place kind of looks like a castle todoroki thought. Large domed windows with red velvet curtains let in the midafternoon sun drift in illuminating floating dust. Definitely looks like a castle. Suddenly something made him turn his head, distant chatter floated from a hallway behind him. Ah, people, he though, todoroki turned on his heel and decided to head towards the noise even though he had never been fond of crowds. While still taking in the interior of the old building he quickly walked forward. He had slowed to turn around the corner when something green came out of nowhere and ran straight into him knocking him to the ground.

"OH MY GOD IM SO SORRY I DIDNT SEE YOU THERE ARE YOU OK" todoroki looked up to see a green haired boy on his hands and knees next to him. The boy had bright green eyes that seemed to sparkle as he fussed over todoroki and helping pick up his belongings that had splayed everywhere from the impact.

"No no it's ok I wasn't looking where i was going I should be the one apologising" he replied. The  boy then handed him his items and asked for his name. Todoroki didn't hear this because he was busy looking at the boys hand, it was covered in scars. He felt his own hand move up to his left eye and brush the scarred skin. 

"Hey are you ok?" The boy asked again

"I'm sorry I didn't hear what you said"

"Oh I was just asking your name, mines izuku midoriya-" midoriya said sticking out his hand. It took todoroki a while to understand that he was trying to help him up "-but everyone calls me deku" he said with a smile. Todoroki took his hand and got up, straightened out his shirt and replied.

"I'm shoto todoroki, nice to meet you"
