Todoroki pov:

Oh my god, todoroki thought. He was sitting in his classroom working on a presentation about why sociopaths like cheese *i didn't know what to write I'm so sorry* but his thoughts were elsewhere. Deku had technically asked him on  a date, even though two other people were there, but that was beside the point. Todoroki had developed a small crush on the freckled green haired boy. It wasn't like true love or anything but still his heart beat like drums in a rock band whenever he caught sight of him. That's why when deku asked him to the cafe his mind literally broke into pieces. All he could think of was how cute deku looked with the morning sun dancing through his curly tangle. 

"Todoroki?" He was snapped out his daze by a gentle voice. He looked to his left and saw Momo yaoyorozu looking at him with concern in her eyes. 

"Are you ok?" She asked, her long black hair was in a high pony tail her fringe swept over her right eye. 

"Todoroki?!" She asked again more urgently.

"Yes I'm fine thank you"

"Oh good" she sat back in her seat, clearly not satisfied. 

"Are you sure?"

"Yes" he answered simply, todoroki thought that there was no need to say more when a simple answer was appropriate. She turned her attention back to her laptop and started on her assignment again. As todoroki watched her work another girl walked through the doors and started towards them. She had dark choppy hair with a lopsided fringe. Her dark eyes narrowed when she saw todoroki looking at Momo.

"Hey momo" said the girl as she bent down to kiss yaoyorozus forehead.

"Hey kyoka" replied yaoyorozu, the girl no her girlfriend, made a show to sit between them with her back to todoroki. Yaoyorozu sighed

"Babe you don't  have to play overprotective girlfriend he knows I'm with you" 

"Cool doesn't mean he won't make a move though"

"I won't make a move" interrupted todoroki "I don't like girls"

"eXCUSE YOU? MOMO IS A WONDERFUL WOMAN YOU SHOULD RESPECT HER WITH EVERY INCH OF YOUR BEING"

"I mean I'm gay" he said. They both blinked in union and stared at him.

"Oh, oh ok" said jirou. She then promptly left the room hiding her face behind her bangs. Yaoyorozu's eyes followed her until she had closed the giant doors.

"Sorry about her she can get over protective sometimes"

"It's fine, must be nice to have someone to care for you like that." Todoroki muttered, Momo whirled her head around making her hair slap her in the face. She brushed the hair away and stared at him.

"Wow big angst move there, are you ok?"

"Yes I meant like having a partner that you display affection with in public, in Japan homosexuality is frowned upon by most people"

"Oh wow that must have been hard" she said, patting him on the shoulder. Todoroki just shrugged and went back to his presentation, he didn't need sympathy, what he needed was to get good grades so he could stay in America. Besides how would anyone else know what he had been through.
