Deku pov:

Crap crap crap crap craaaaappppp, deku bolted out of his room pulling on a shirt. I'm going to be late! He thought frantically. Class had gone for longer then expected so he had only 2 minutes to get to the cafe. What if he I mean they think I'm not coming and leave? He flew down the stairs in record time and threw open the doors leading to outside. 

Once on the footpath he ran as fast as his legs would go. He dodged old couples and leapt over dogs, weaving through the crowds until he caught sight of the small cafe. 

It was the bottom half of a double story house with a wooden veranda that had around four tables sitting on it. Inside there was room for 20 odd people and more if they really wanted. There were vines growing on all walls and the sweet scent of honeysuckle was carried in the breeze towards him. Deku skidded to a stop in front of the shop huffing and puffing. He looked inside quickly but saw nobody except a young couple and mirio. Oh no they a-

"Oh hi deku!" Said a cheery voice, he looked down the way he had come and saw uraraka, iida and todoroki. He was dressed in a white turtle neck with black jeans, his multi coloured hair had been brushed so it was flat *as oikawa*. Iida was wearing a plain blue T-shirt with black jeans that had a silver pattern on the calf. Uraraka was in a pink skirt and plain white T-shirt. They weren't even here yet he thought miserably, he had run all that way for nothing. He looked back up at them and caught todorokis eyes, they both blushed slightly and looked away. 

"Hey guys" Deku was still rather out of breath so instead of striking up a conversation as he normally would he just said those simple words and followed them into the cafe.

"Hello you Four! Glad to see you dropped by!" Said someone that sounded friendly. Mirio togata stood behind the counter wearing a  green apron over his school uniform.

"Uh Mirio shouldn't you have gotten changed?" Questioned uraraka

"Oh yeah probably"

"Right..."

"Your guys table is over here" he led them to a small table tucked away in a corner. There were four seats, uraraka and iida made a show of sitting next to each other so todoroki and deku were sitting together. She is really determined, thought deku. 

"Alright guys now that we are here I think we should try to get to  know one another better" said iida

"Ooooo we should play 21 questions" interrupted uraraka. *idk how that game works*

"I was going to suggest that someone asks a question and everyone has to answer" iida said in a deflated voice. 

"That's what 21 questions is dummy"

"Oh ok then I shall start, where were you guys born" iida asked looking around at the table uraraka was the first to answer

"Oh I was born in detriot" *is that even a place? Idk imma just use it*

"I was born in Kansas, deku?" Iida asked

"Uhm I was born in Kyoto" he said shyly, he wasn't really a fan of telling people where he was from. He only lived there for two years so it didn't even feel like he was from there.

"Interesting and todoroki?"

"I was born in Tokyo" he said in a monotone voice. Why does todoroki look resentful?  Wondered deku. I wonder if he actually like living in Japan.

"Excellent now uraraka shall ask a question"

"Oh me? Ok so have any of you ever dated someone before"

"No" - iida

"No" - uraraka

"No" - todoroki

"Uhm yes?" Deku said meekly, he wasn't going to lie here besides what harm would it do to tell them of the failed love he had had. Todorokis head snapped up and stared at deku.

"Really?" He asked, deku squirmed a bit under the gaze of todoroki, before he knew it his face was very very red.

"Uh yeah... it wasn't for very long though, we didn't really like each other all that much".

"Then why did you date? That seems pointless to me" uraraka said. Todoroki was still staring midoriya. Iida just looked intrigued.

"It kind of was, it was when I was in year ten *im not even going to try learn the American system for this*  and it was to please my dad so yeah there really wasn't anything there". Deku looked over at todoroki again, he had seemed to relax after hearing that, it was like deku having an ex was some kind of threat? He must just have been surprised, deku thought. I'm sure of it.
