A/n: ahhhh i havent written in ages god i need to manage my schedule better

Todoroki pov: 

Todoroki wandered after deku as they navigated the sprawling streets to the large park that laid in the center of the city. They stopped for a second to take in where they were before setting off again but a little slower this time. 

"So where are we going?" todoroki asked looking down at deku, he noticed dekus curly green hair bounced as he walked. He smiled slightly, it was cute.

"Uhm cant tell you" he said abruptly. He was using short sentences like todoroki normally does, sneaky. As they walked through the park gates deku slowed to a normal walk pace because as todoroki could see every man and his dog were there even though  it was a late wednesday afternoon.  People sat on picnic blankets while others just roamed around. There were also actually men and their dogs. A great dane ran past chasing a ball and knocked down several people in the process. It wouldve got deku as well if todoroki hadnt grabbed him and pulled him away. Deku looked up at todoroki surprised that his first reaction was to grab him.

"Ah, thanks" and the walk began again. After they got a little ways into the park deku veered off the path and started walking through a thick swathe of trees. Todoroki wacked at the branches attempting to not be scratched to death. That attept failed though when a branch that deku had pushed back slapped straight into todorokis face, and it had thorns.

"AGH" he stepped back holding his face in his hands. *because how else would you hold your face, with ur feet?* deku turned around when he heard todoroki yell and saw that the branch hit him.

"OH MY GOD TODOROKI I AM SO SORRY ARE YOU OK DOYOUNEEDANAMBULANCEICANCALLONE"

"WAITNOITSJUSTSCRATCHESWAITWHATIFIBLINDEDYOUOHMYGODNO"

"AREYOUBLINDCANYOUSEEOHNOIVEBLINDEDYOU"

"DEKU"

"YES?"

"Calm down I'm fine it's dust a few scratches"

"Are you sure?" He said, his voice wobbling with worry. Why was he so scared that he had hurt me? Todoroki thought. After deku had calmed down he insisted that he check todorokis scratches, somehow remembering he was studying to be a doctor. The cuts were shallow but there were quite a few. The ones over his old injury hurt more then the others.

"Ok you ready to keep going todoroki?"

"Yeah, as long as you tell me where we are heading"

"It's just something the older students showed us after orientation, you missed it so I thought I'd bring you to see it."

"Didnt kirishima suggest that you take me to this 'spot'" Todoroki questioned. He lifted one eyebrow up and looked incredulously *im not sure if that's the right context to use the word in but we're gonna pretend it is* at deku. For some reason he started to blush, his freckled cheeks turned a light shade of pink and he averted meeting todorokis stare. Todoroki thought it was cute how he tried to hide it.

"Ok let's keep walking" after another ten minutes or so they arrived at a large hedge.

"I'm sorry but there's a hedge here, it's rather dense too how are we meant to get past?" Todoroki questioned. He looked at the bush trying to find an opening. It wasn't until deku walked through it that he saw.

"Wow...." he then stepped after the smaller boy and emerged on the other side.
