After the altercation with the Wangs, and LiCu's life is pretty much back to normal well, actually he has a new definition of normal, the three of them has.
After graduation all three of them got into University
No one questions how they got in easily and who takes care of the 'college funds', it's already pretty obvious, LiCu's bank account contains many digits that it makes his eyes bulge sometimes

The amount of numbers on LiCu's phone, increased ,the weekly pestering of Either of the "OLD FARTS" as LiCu called them, getting random pictures from WuXie or Pangye, their random visits to WuShanju ,getting spoiled by Wu Nai Nai, their trips to Cresent Hotel with Liang Wan because Zhang Rishan…

Oh did he mention that he had met THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY?
He had met Zhang QiLing and the dude is both weird and interesting and he fights cool
But no matter how he looked up at the weirdo, he will never, EVER want to be alone with both Wu Xie and Zhang QiLing
The way the eye fuck each other as they share fond smiles and how they would subtly flirt with each other makes LiCu's skin crawl
He's happy for them really, but he doesn't want to be in between dumb Adults pining for each other
Life may look perfecf but it didn't fail to also fuck things up,
LiCu still lives with his Dad, seems to not want him to move away yet, they were atleast in better terms and LiCu starts noticing how his Dad pays attention to him more now, it's a weird good feeling after

He just came home from University ready to just flop on his bed after four exams,To his full utter surprise his mother who he hadn't seen for years after divorcing his father, is in the Kitchen
" Li Cu your mom's here"
He felt anger rise in his throat, after all this years this woman had the audacity to show her face
"What are you doing here?" His voice a bit cold
"Li Cu" his dad gave a warning voice but he ignored it still greeting the woman with indifference
"You've grown so much"
"That's what happens when you became absent to all the years your son needs you"
"LiCu!" His father now raised his voice
"I'll be in my room,enjoy your dinner"
He felt his head spin with the shock of the events, his mother who left suddenly now has the guts to show her face
He was about halfway to sleep when his room door slammed and there stood his Dad
Before he could react to anything, a waft of strong scent of wine hit his nose and. Strong slap almost split his cheek
"What?"..."
His Father pulled the front of his shirt and hoisted him back up the wall
"You ungrateful bastard! Who told you to disrespect your mother like that?"
He felt his cheeks go numb at every land of his father's palm
