12: "Final Exams"

The internships had ended and classes had begun again. Minato reaches the classroom with Izuku, leaning on his shoulder and holding his stomach, with tears in his eyes and a smile on his face, as the rest of Class 1-A looks at him confused... until Katsuki walks in. With a single look at the boy's hair, Kaminari, Kirishima and Sero start laughing harder than Minato had.

Minato:"(Calming down) Okay, really now... what the hell did you learn with Best Jeanist?"

Katsuki:"Shut up! (Looking at the other three) And you, stop laughing! It just stuck like this, no matter how much I washed it."

While Katsuki tried to stop his classmates from laughing at his hair, the girls chatted about their experiences at the internships, with Uraraka emanating a weird aura from her as she showed off a few of the moves she learned with the battle hero, Gunhead. Kaminari and Mineta also speak to eachother about their internships, before the blonde-haired classmate turns towards Shoto's seat.

Kaminari:"... that'd be the one you had, right, you guys?"

Sero:"(Being roughed up by Katsuki) Yeah, yeah, the hero killer!"

Kirishima:"(Being roughed as well) I'm just glad you're all still alive."

Kaminari:"But Endeavor came and saved you, right? That's the number two hero for you!"

Shoto:"(Upset) Right...we were saved."

Ojiro and Shoji then start talking about the media coverage regarding the incident and how they thought the hero killer was associated with the league of villains,. The two boys wondered what could have happened if the hero killer had been present at the USJ incident. Kaminari then interrupts them, mentioning the video about the villain that has been spread online, talking about his tenacity and determination before saying he seemed cool. Hearing that, Izuku called out to him.

Izuku:"Kaminari!"

Kaminari:"Huh? Ah... Iida... sorry!"

Iida:"(Calm) No... it's fine. He's certainly a man of conviction, so if some people think he's cool... I get that. (Serious) But his convictions have led him to conclude that society requires a purge. And no matter what one's motives are, that's just wrong. So that no others like myself emerge and suffer my fate... (Excited) I will correct my course and walk the path of a true hero!"

Izuku finds himself both surprised and happy at his friend's answer, with Minato and Shoto smiling as well. As Aizawa arrives, the class then proceeds to quiet down and move to their seats to begin homeroom.

All Might:"I am here! And the reason for that is... Hero Basic Training! It's been a while, boys and girls! How is everyone!?"

Class 1-A listens to their teacher, speaking in his usual cheery attitude, as a few of the students comment on his plain entrance.

All Might:"As an immediate follow-up to your internships, today's drill is a playful one. A rescue-training race!"

Iida:"(Raising his hand) Shouldn't rescue training be conducted at USJ?"

All Might:"That place is for rescues in disaster situations, but good question! As I was saying, there will be a race. This is field Gamma! It's a dense spread of factories that, together, create an intricate network of maze-like alleys! You'll split into four teams of five, with each team going one at a time. I'll send up a distress signal from somewhere inside, and you will all start at the border! It's a race to see who can reach and rescue me first!"

Minato:"(Raising his hand) I'm guessing that in a real life situation, caution is a key element, so... (Looking at Katsuki with a smirk) we should keep destruction to a minimum, right?"
