15: "The True Culprit"

The group keeps going up the building.

Kaminari:"Man, we got real lucky! All the shutters have been raised since we reached the 100th floor."

Minato:"I'm not so sure that we're lucky for that."

Kaminari:"(Confused) Huh? What do you mean?"

Momo:"It's more likely that the villains raised them to lure us into a trap."

Everyone agrees, as Mineta and Kaminari start getting nervous. Ignoring the two boys' reactions, the group keeps going. After getting to the 130th floor, Minato opens a door to what seemed to be a generator room. Peeking inside, the group sees several generators and a walkway that divided into three separate paths. On the end of the one that leaded to the opposite side of the room a large pillar covered with green neon lights could be seen. However, what stood out the most to the youths were the several drones moving around the room.

Iida:"It seems they are trying to capture us."

Izuku:"They might have been tracking our progress with the cameras, which means they might have seen our faces. Do you think they know who we are?"

Minato:"Possibly. If I had to guess they either know we're UA students and want to make sure we don't interfere, or they just want to capture us to keep us as a safety measure, in case they lose control over the security system."

Jiro, who was using her quirk to listen into the room, speaks to the rest of the group.

Jiro:"I'm not listening anything, besides those drones, which means we're the only people here."

Kaminari:"They're robots, right? (Smirking) Then I can just fry them all!"

Minato:"We're in I-Island, you moron. You really think it's that easy to destroy their security drones?"

Katsuki:"(Smirking) Well, I say we just go and blow them up!"

Iida:"We should avoid conflict, Bakugo-kun!"

Minato:"No, he's right."

Everyone looks incredulously at Minato, who kept his focus on the drones.

Minato:"They already know we're here, so there's no point in keeping a stealth approach. We should just move as fast as we can and get rid of any obstacles in our way."

Momo:"Still, we shouldn't be too careless. Those drones should be able to report their locations, so I'll make some canisters of metallic dust. It'll interfere with their communications. That way, the villains won't know where we're going."

Momo then started producing said canisters. After everyone had a few, the group entered the room, tossing the canisters to the drones, until the room was covered in a cloud of metallic dust. As that happened, Minato leapt into the air, unleashing his kagune, as Izuku and Katsuki jumped as well and the three started destroying drones. Shoto did the same, hitting the machines with waves of ice and fire, as Iida and Kirishima took care of any drones that closed in on the rest of the group. As the drones are taken care of, the group continues onward. As they close in on the 140th floor, they find a server room. As they enter it, Melissa points out the next door they have to go through, only to see a small army of drones come into the room through it. As Katsuki moves forward, readying himself to blast them up Melissa shouts.

Melissa:"Wait! We can't fight here! If the servers take damage, it will affect the security system!"

Even more drones come into the room, increasing their numbers.

Minato:"We can't afford to cause too much destruction in here, so I'll take care of this."

Everyone else agreed, with Katsuki clicking his tongue as a sign of annoyance. Minato unleashes his kagune, making them sharp as blades, and lunges forward, slashing the drones carefully, as not to cause damage to the servers. After a few minutes, the floor is littered with drone pieces, as Minato withdraws his kagune.
