19: "A Much Needed Talk"

The next day went pretty much like the one before. Training the entire morning, followed by making and having lunch. After everyone finished eating, Momo started making a speech.

Momo:"If I may have everyone's attention, I have an announcement to make! Yesterday, while walking around the forest, Amamiya-kun and I found a gorgeous river, perfect for us all to have a swim! I have already spoken to the teachers and have gotten their consent."

Everyone started cheering, despite the exhaustion. Afterwords, everyone left to their rooms to get their swimsuits and left to the river. As everyone put on sunscreen or just went right into the water, Mina complained to Minato.

Mina:"You're not supposed to be wearing a t-shirt, Mi-kun!"

Minato turns to face the girl, seeing she was wearing a revealing blue bikini.

Minato:"I also shouldn't be swimming with these stupid weights, but here we are."

Momo:"Aren't you allowed to take them off?"

The duo looks to the side, seeing Momo standing there, wearing a red bikini with blue and yellow floral patterns.

Minato:"Unfortunately not. It should be fine, as long as I'm careful. You look stunning."

Momo:"(Turning her head to hid her blush) T-thank you."

Mina:"(Pouting) Why didn't you compliment me too, Mi-kun!"

Minato:"It seemed pretty obvious."

Mina:"(Turning away with a pout) Not enough!"

Chuckling at the girl Minato wraps his arm around her waist, pulling her closer to him and whispering on her ear.

Minato:"(Whispering) What if I say that you look so good that, if nobody was around I'd..."

As Minato kept going, Mina face got redder and redder, as blush became more noticeable. As he lets go of her, Mina runs away to the rest of the girls from Class A, covering her blushing face with her hands. Minato simply laughed, as Momo sighed.

Momo:"What did you say to her?"

Minato:"(Teasing) If you really want to know, I could whisper it to your ear."

Momo:"(Nervous) On second thought, I'd rather not know."

Minato:"(Chuckles) Suit yourself. Wanna go for a swim."

Momo:"Of course! That's why we came."

Minato:"Okay. I'm going ahead."

With that said, Minato runs to the water. Momo tries to catch up to him, but even with the weights, he was far faster than her. By the time she reaches the water, Minato is already diving in the deeper part of the river. Unable to properly see him, Momo entered the river, letting the cool water touch her skin, until, suddenly, she feels something gripping her ankles and pulling her under the water as she screams in fear. Quickly covering her mouth, she is pulled under, seeing the one who pulled her, as she starts glaring. Meanwhile, Minato, unable to contain his laughter, lets go of Momo and both of them swim up. As they break the surface of the water, Minato starts laughing, as Momo scowls at him.

Momo:"(Angry) That was not funny, Amamiya-kun!"

Minato:"(Laughing) You're right... it was hilarious!"

Momo puffed up her cheeks, pouting in an adorable way, as Minato pokes one.

Minato:"C'mon, it wasn't that bad, was it?"

Instead of answering, Momo turned back and started swimming to shore, until Minato grabs her hand, making her turn back to him, and wraps an arm around her waist, bringing her close to him. He then stopped kicking his legs, allowing his weights to pull them back underwater. As they did, Momo tried to get free, until she accepted she wouldn't be able to and relaxed. They were horizontal, with Momo laying her head on Minato's chest, feeling his warmth, as he wrapped his other arm around her and closing his eyes, taking in the moment. The two stayed like that for a minute or so, until Momo tapped Minato's chest, as the boy didn't look, seemingly lost in a trance. Seconds passed and Momo started panicking, slapping her hands against his chest, as hard as she could. As Minato finally noticed the girl's pleas, he starts swimming up as fast as she can, as they got back to the surface, Momo start panting heavily.
