It was a Monday afternoon, the sun was shining bright, and the wind wasn't blowing hard, Adults were driving to work or back to their homes but a certain family goes to the only hospital in their town.

The Sakamaki family were going to the hospital to see one of their own. Jack Sakamaki, the oldest son of the family was going with his mother, Olivia Sakamaki, to go see the youngest of the group, Jack's little sister and Olivia's daughter.

They were just parking in the parking lot and getting out when Jack stopped moving and looked towards the hospital, staring in wonder if his little sister was okay.

"Mother, is Milly okay?" Jack asks his mother Olivia, she looks at him and puts her head low in sorrow, Jack knows what answer she will give, it would be a miracle if Milly was to survive.

Milly is the little sister of Jack and daughter to Olivia, she was contained in the hospital due to a sickness that could kill, a cure was still being made and Milly wouldn't have enough time to live.

Jack looks at his mother and back at the hospital, almost crying but holding them back for his sister's sake, knowing that Milly would wish for Jack to stay strong even if she may have been dying. Olivia and Jack started walking into the hospital, checking in so they could see their dear family member Milly. Jack walks up to the room, his mother Olivia talking with their doctor about the condition of Milly and her illness.

Jack soon gets to the window of the room, knocking on it and waiting for an answer, soon a little short teen girl with really long light brown hair to her knees walks to the window slowly smiling lightly. Jack smiles weakly at the girl, trying to hold back the tears he wishes to cry out.

The girl smiles, "Hello Jack, it's nice to see you again big bro!" she giggles a little as Jack smiles to see his sister's beautiful smile and hearing her cute giggles but he could feel a slight pain in his chest, it hurt him to see his sister look so sick and for her to be very alone without him and their mother. Milly saw the pain in his eyes and stopped smiling, tilting her head to the left slightly.

"Jack? What's wrong?" Milly asks in a small little voice, she tends to really worry about her family and how they feel. Jack pretends to smile as he realizes that his smile was fading.

"It is nothing Milly, no worries here!" Jack said with a shiver; trying to hold back the tears that wish to escape his eyes. Milly stares at Jack for a little bit and then looks away; shaking off the feeling she is having, but then she looks at Jack; smiling.

"Okay Jack, you better not be lying to me or I will haunt you!" She giggled so innocently towards Jack that it made a knot form in his stomach. Jack never liked lying to his sister but he also didn't want to see her smile turn into a frown, if he were to ever see that (and with the situation she is in), he would only feel pain in his chest as if his heart had just been wounded, broken.

"So, how have the doctors been treating you? I don't have to punch someone, right?" Jack showed a slight smile, putting a fist up in the air. Milly laughed at the action though causing her to cough slightly, she shook her head and smiled ever so sweetly. "The doctors are really sweet to me. They have been taking good care of me so no worries!" Milly said cheerfully and honest, Jack wondered if the doctors were only acting sweet and kind because they feel empathy for the poor little teen who was gonna die. Milly looked around behind Jack and to both sides, Jack went to follow where her eyes were going, it was obvious she was looking for others.

"Where is mom?" Milly asked quietly, still watching both Jack's sides and the back of him. Jack realized that their mother had been discussing with the doctors for a while now, he started to wonder if she was alright or not. "She is probably still trying to chat with the doctors, we do have to find a way to cure you." Jack said lightly, looking at his little sister and smiled, he was trying to show her that there was no need to worry, he just wanted to keep her happy for the time being. Milly watched Jack's eyes and then turned her back to him, leaning up against the window a bit. Jack could see that she was thinking about something, something either worrisome or something to lighten the mood. There had been no talking whatsoever for a few hours as they just stood there in silence, Jack cleared his throat and tried to start up a conversation when Milly interrupted him.
