As Tuesday came, it went just as fast as it did arrive. Now it was an early Wednesday morning and the sun was rising slowly as footsteps can be heard. Milly was in her bathroom, brushing her hair and trying to figure out what style to do it in. It had been a while since she was at school that she completely forgot that she had to go in for it, while at the hospital, she was taught by certain people just to catch up on what she was missing her freshman year. She was now a sophomore at Mountain Oak High, soon enough she will become a junior than a senior which then she will try and graduate and become a great person. Milly put her hair up in two beautiful red ribbons, making two twin tails. As she looked at her mirror she smiled, she couldn't wait to get back to everyone she had left, mostly the teachers. Milly walked of the bathroom and sat on her bed, putting on some long black knee-high socks, she wore a cute red shirt with a black t-shirt.
"It's okay, Milly. You can get through this." Milly spoke to herself under her breath, she smiled and grabbed her backpack, walking downstairs where she saw her mother's beautiful but slightly scarred face (the scar which was on her head), smiling and cooking breakfast. Jack was sitting down at the dinner table and reading a newspaper, Milly almost thought it was her father until she saw the kind eyes that rested on the pages of the paper.
"They did it again, they had another party at the bar," Jack said, his eyes never leaving the newspaper, Olivia looked at him and sighed heavily, annoyed. "Really? It's a huge mess and a big bill to pay again, huh?" Olivia asked, clearly joking, Jack chuckled and put the paper down and looked towards where his little sister is, her red eyes just staring at them in silence. "Morning! You look nice for your back-to-school day, love what you did with your hair." Jack said, only trying to be nice, Milly smiled and nodded then looked at the living room couch and stared.
"Father came home really late, huh? He was laying right there?" Milly asked as she pointed at the couch, Jack sighed and nodded, "Damn idiot gave himself a hangover and he had to go to work like that. He is so hopeless, but let us forget about him!" Milly only nodded with what Jack said and went to sit at the dinner table. Olivia was putting eggs, bacon, and toast on two plates, she then gave those two plates to Milly and Jack as they both said their thank-yous. Olivia couldn't help but watch Milly eat, she couldn't believe that Milly was sitting right there still, and with how much she HAS to eat. Milly ate and smiled, loving her mother's cooking and just to be with them, this feeling she hoped would never end. Jack ate then cleaned up his spot, "We should head out or we may be late." He said as he went into the kitchen. "I will clean that up for you two, just head out," Olivia said with a smile, and with that being said Milly and Jack went off to the bus stop down from their home. As they walked, Milly watched everything around her, she watched everything that moved and what stood still, she wouldn't allow her eyes to fall away from everything. Jack noticed and looked over to her, tilting his head and about to poke her when their eyes suddenly met.
"You alright? Are you nervous?" Jack asked, Milly just stared then looked away and shaking her head. "I am actually not nervous, surprisingly. I just feel like.." She stopped speaking and that was the end of that conversation, Jack tried to get her to talk more but she just stayed silent when what she was gonna say was being brought up. Jack merely sighed and looked in front of them, the bus stop just in close range. As they got to the bus stop, they waited patiently as more kids started to appear at the bus stop, they stared at Milly a lot as if questioning what they were seeing. Milly was getting nervous with all the eyes and looked at Jack, whispering into his ear. "If you have your driver's license, please drive us to school instead." Jack was confused with what she said and looked at all the kids, he kindly asked them to stop staring at his sister and that it was making her uncomfortable. As soon as he asked, they stopped fast, apologizing quick and easy, then trying to watch for the bus. The bus eventually got there and they boarded on, Milly felt something block her lungs from the air as the many eyes stared at her at once, they all stared at her, in her eyes, it looked like they weren't blinking but just watching with dry eyes. Milly was frozen in place for a while, not even listening to the bus driver who was telling them to sit down, Jack saw her frozen in place and grabbed her hand, trying to ease her mind and pull her to a seat with him. Jack was worried about these sudden actions from her, she never was this bad when around others, maybe the hospital got to her in a year. As they sat on the bus, Milly could still feel the eyes on her. What did they want? Did they want her dead? Was she something they disliked? Those thoughts were finding their way into Milly's head and ganged up on her brain, Milly put her head in her hands and held it there, wincing in pain, that's when the twitches finally kicked in.
