Females go through a lot don't they
I mean we go missing more than males do
so that should count as something
We get all the abuse
Do you know any rape victim that survives to tell the tale??
I do, she had to lie to her family at one point
It was someone close to her
can you believe that, the one that's closest to you
I have been a victim of some abuses. They are not pretty
verbal, emotional, and physical abuse.
Some relationships are just not worth it, okay. If you notice something
get all the help you can get, don't stay
Every Jamaican have suffered from both verbal and physical abuse
growing up if you are a 2000s baby, (I am a '02 baby).
It was a relief when the government said no more corporal
punishment but that did not stop them did it.
Just a word from the survivor. Get help or share your trouble
with someone you really, really trust
to not harm you. A pastor, teacher, or law enforcer is
the best to go to. I had help from church and friends,
that's what made me stronger.
