A lot of us don't know what the prefix 'ex' means.
It means 'former' for eg. ex-husband, ex-boyfriend,
ex-girlfriend. The Greek version is so sexy it's 'out of'
or 'away from'. Meaning your out of my life, you don't
exist anymore.
I'm tired of my ex's telling me that we are
still together but still yet they've other girls.
When I say it's over you better know that it's over.
I just want to get you out of my system to move
on to better grounds.
I've been somewhere with a current boyfriend
and there out of the blues my ex pops up with a 'What's
up baby?' shocking me to the point my soul jumps out.
Stuff like this gets me angry to the point I turn red.
Let's just stay in our lanes.
Just help me to understand can we have ex-
friends? Oh hell yes! You can. Once they're no more
they're your ex-friend. Just remember once you
forgive that 'ex' you must never forget what they had done
But you can move on to better place in life, one less burden.
