Kaeya kneels down beside the remains of a mist flower, delicately grabbing the stem of the flower. "How peculiar..." He runs his hand towards the core, where the corolla should have been "I thought this area was deserted." Kaeya stands up, staring down while fiddling with the empty space in the core before crushing it. Silently he tears his hand from the stem and opens his hand, letting the frozen bits if the flower flow away in the wind. "What a shame"
Kaeya turns, wiping his hand against the side of his pants. He watches as the frozen bits of the flower fall onto the grass a few feet away, before feeling the presence of someone approaching his location. He turns quickly, extending his hand out to easily grab his sword as a precaution before letting out a sigh of relief when a familiar blonde slowly moves closer. "Traveler" Kaeya places a hand on his hip.
"Kaeya! What are you doing out here!" Aether stops almost directly in front of the captain, wiping his forehead with his palm as he exhales. "Shouldn't you be in Mondstadt? Diluc told me you busy doing tasks there" Aether places his hands on top of his hips, stretching his back as he looks questionably at Kaeya.
"Where is your little friend" Kaeya dodges the question, looking for Paimon who is usually floating around somewhere close. "Such a horrible guide" he mockingly jokes, bringing a hand up and patting the top of Aether head. Sort of happy that she isn't there to disrupt then Kaeya smiles, sliding his hand down to the side of Aethers face and pushing his bangs back behind his ears.
Kaeya leans close to the side of Aethers ear and whispers in a sort of flirtatious tone "Could it be you were looking to spend time with me" A short muffled laugh escapes him as Aethers eyes open in surprise and embarrassment. " Haven't we already spent a lot of time together these past nights darling" Kaeya continues teasing Aether, grabbing his waist and pulling him closer. "Aren't you a greedy one"
"Mm" Aether responds to Kaeya's teasing, placing his hands against Kaeya's cheeks guiding his face down towards his own.
