Hi ya'll! The asymptotic parts will be a 4 part thing. To celebrate the 10th chapter and of course, to make it four makes sense. This story also has a lot in store for it. Like a lot. So get ready for some mind boggling twists! And I was thinking of making a discord server for fans of this series (if there are any) and I'll chat in it too! So if ya'll are interested out your usernames in the comments section and I'll make a server, send you a friend request, and invite you to the server!
Also trigger warning for this chapter. Mentions death, guns, massacre, and injury.
Four's POV:
I felt my entire body submerge into darkness. It felt like my entire heart was being squeezed by the crushing pressure. My eyes turn black, black liquid pours out of my mouth, I can't breathe, I can't feel myself, I'm not worth it! It's all worthless! I can't continue!... but then... I wake up in a cold sweat in my bed, pupils were small red x's (the symbol not the character) and my brain hurt and throbbed, I rubbed my eyes. They disappeared. My condition... fuck. My bed was covered in a black sludge leaking from my mouth. I wish I didn't send that letter. To be fair, Five dared me to. I swear I will kill her... I sigh. I get up, checking the time... what the! It's 2 am... whatever... I open my window. I put my black hoodie on. I jump out the window and land on the cold wet grass. Rain lightly poured onto the ground. My face hidden. I start running through the streets, no cars in sight. I run faster. The streetlights vaguely illuminating the rough gravel pavement. The stars glistened through the cracks in the clouds. I felt my heart flutter as I kept running. My sides heaved. I entered the town. With a smirk on my face I walked around. It was about five years ago where the dark night massacre happened. A group of ex convicts, about three of them entered this town, killing thirty people, but wounding around twenty. I was one of the twenty people. I walk by the equation playground. I stop, and think. The kid I helped all those years ago find out his real value. He was familiar. I thought until my brain remembered who. X... oh my god... that's him. That's why I felt so... how do I explain... connected to him. Yet we seem to be so asymptotic. We're so close but so far away from each other at the same time. I sit on one of the swings. This entire town had not a single resident since the massacre. It was just a ghost town. Nothing more. Nothing less. I felt the coldness of the swing sink into me. I shivered. I kicked off, making myself swing. As I swung back and forth I looked up at the cloudy sky. I remembered this town full of people running around. Their screams. Their yells. My parents just ran away. Left us. They never came back, not giving a single shit if we were killed... I chuckled. I get off the swing. I walk to a park bench and lay down on it, falling asleep.
Hope you enjoyed that weirdly dark chapter! Bye!
