(George Weasley x Y/n)

~Chapter 36~

We all woke up early in the morning so that we could arrive at kings cross earlier than the others. As me, mason and draco sat in the compartment I noticed a familiar red head and ran towards her and her group. I tapped her shoulder and waited for her to notice it was me "Y/N!" Ginny shouted and hugged me tight, as I was hugging her back I noticed George holding the hand of Alicia Spinnet and looking down guilty at the floor. As she let go I greeted everyone but George and went back to the compartment. As I slid the door open I saw that Blaise, Pansy, Crabbe and goyle joined and I sat beside Mason. As we all started catching up again I looked out the window and started to question Alicia and George's relationship. After a few hours of talking to everyone someone knocked on the door, as I looked across the room I noticed Fred smiling down at the door gesturing to me to come out. As I was walking out Draco held my arm and gave me a look of worry but I nodded and left the compartment. As I stood in front of him he hugged me tight and took a while to let go "fred are you okay?" "ya... i- uh just noticed your face when you saw- george" i nodded and it became silent for a second "look, y/n.. I know you love george.. And i know you wanna get back at him for replacing you so easily.. Angelina and i just broke up... and uh- i was just mostly asking if you wanted to pretend we were dating just to make them jealous... just hear me out! George will notice you more and angelina will do the same" "i'll need to think about it.." he nodded and before he could walk away i chased after him "could i just say hi to the others again?" he smiled and brought me to their compartment. We slid the door open and I saw hermione, ron, harry, ginny, alicia and george, as i sat beside hermione we started to talk about what we did for summer.. I didn't notice what i was saying until i accidentally blurted out "oh! Me and Fred started dating after the wedding of Bill. ''I covered my mouth and so did everybody else, before I could explain myself, Fred put his arm around my shoulders and my face turned red.. "y/n.. We were supposed to tell them next month.." he went along and i just mumbled "sorry" it became silent for a few minutes until ginny started asking for questions. Fred was the one to answer most of the questions while I hid my face in embarrassment. After a few minutes passed I decided it was time to go back to the others, I waved goodbye and walked out. Fred followed and grinned at me "so.." "Shut it" he started giggling and said his goodbyes with a little bow. I shrugged and entered the compartment and noticed everyone staring at me "w-what" "y/n you're so red-" pansy started to giggle and i sat beside draco who questioned me if i was okay silently, i nodded then looked back out the window and realised what i have just done.

As we all arrived at Hogwarts I ran straight to the Slytherin common room and hid my embarrassment in Pansy's pillow as she stroked my hair just telling me it would be alright. After a few minutes of talking the guys started to knock on the door, pansy stood up as i looked up and saw draco and blaise "yes yes, we will be out" i heard pansy say. As she closed the door and turned to look at me with a frown "the boys said we should go down with them and eat" i nodded and stood up to get ready. Once me and Pansy walked down the stairs we noticed the boys sitting by the fireplace talking, we cleared our throats and they smiled at us while gesturing to us to go out first. We all ate dinner together and i started to forget what happened this morning.

After a few months me and Fred would smile and wave at each other, butt it would still be a bit awkward between us cause everyone would always point out on how we have been dating for months and yet we haven't gone on a date. Like the usual me and pansy went down from her dorm and saw Draco and all the boys waiting for us, As we reached the great hall, we decided to sit at the end of the slytherin table so people would leave us alone.

As time passed by, I started to forget what happened this morning until I heard Dumbledore clear his throat. We all looked up and I noticed Fred smiling beside the headmaster with a big bouquet of my favorite flowers "ms... ms snape... uh fred weasley has a big question to ask you..." "uh- y/n?" the slytherins all told me to stand up and so i did, fred ran to me and handed me the flowers ''will you- uh go to hogsmeade with me next week?" he looked at my dad who nodded in approval then back at me, i smiled and looked away from embarrassment and nodded. He jumped and threw me in the air, as he shouted "SHE SAID YES" everyone started to laugh and cheer. As he said goodbye he winked at me when I went back to the table. As I sat back down to the table I heard pansy squeal "i am helping you choose your outfit" "off course you will" I winked at her and we all continued our dinners. As we all said goodbye i noticed a familiar smile and turned around "CEDRIC" i jumped and hugged him tight "i missed you too y/n, sorry i haven't gotten to visit you i have been so busy, but anyways.. i'm guessing your with the other twin?" i shrugged and then gestured him to follow me to the library. As we sat there i told him everything that has been happening and all he did was open his mouth in shock.
